    Hello All!

    6 Weeks today I will have a baby!:eek::T

I am 32 week 5 days! Can't believe that I only have 6 weeks to go, its gone so fast but so slow as well!
    http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?pid=11195358&id=603705054

Have had a rough few days, we had to make the hard decision to have our darling doogie Hazel put to sleep on friday:(, I am still devastated, keep crying at random things that remind me of her, our other doggie Alfie has been very quiet and cuddly with me.

Went to a breastfeeding class last night, it was very interesting and glad I took hubby with me as we both learnt alot! This is our first baby so knew nothing about either type of feeding, made us only more determind to try breastfeeding.

  • Thanks Nikkit but I haven't gone yet so have put me back on the EDD list - so fed up now! Began to lose my plug this morning though so that's a start!! In tomorrow for a VE and if they can't break my waters its another csection unfortunately.

    Hi Jolene... how exciting!:D

My midwife said I probably wont be able to breastfeed because of the medication... I take it you've been given other advice?? *confused*

She also said with being ill all the time it probably wouldn't be a good idea healthwise?

  • From the parent thread, thought some of you ladies might like this!

This one I could have done with

"Yeah, like "OMG, you are HUGE!" is an appropriate thing to say to a pregnant woman"

(((hugs))) Jolene, sorry to hear about your dog, but yay for 6 weeks you will have a baby, I feel like that, like I know at least he will be within 4 weeks yay

I'd want slogan shirt that said..

'Yes I know what causes it.. and I'm VERY good at it'

'yes we have a TV, we watch P()rn'

'touch me and I WILL rip off your arm and beat you to death with it!'

But I much prefer using those 2 suitable-for-every-occasion words my mother taught me... f-cough.. short sweet and very much to the point!

Smartie.. I'm not going to tell you I am a breastfeeding counsellor lol

Morning all just had a nommy bowl of sultanan and raisin porridge and now want more but it was the only packet in that flavour I had, typical!

Pokey - sorry your still here, big fat eviction/labour vibes for you xxx

Jolene - My OH was the only bloke in our breastfeeding antenatal class but am so pleased he came, cos now he knows how important it is and that its also not easy and I need his support. So sorry to hear about your fur baby, its always tough, but with being pg and extra hormones I cant imagine ((huggles)).

smartie - is there anyone else you can ask about BF'ing if your getting conflicting info.

SJ - some of those Ts are fab, would have gotten one if I didnt have such a short time left. Would love to have been able to wear one at work too!

Kindof - I plan on doing all the feeds myself too, but OH said when he is off he will be up with me for comfort and to get me snacks or drinks bless him. I think what annoys me atm is he keeps commenting on how he wishes he had time off atm! I'm like this is not eaxctly a walk in the park! Sorry you had a rough night x

nene - yeay for kicks :D

Beanie - not heard from SS and I'm not sure anyone has her on FB :( I was thinking about her yesterday too, hope she comes back on soon .

Guinea - am so jelous you can walk the dog at all let alone that long, cant wait to take Harvey out again.

Choccie - I hope my other half takes the iniative like yours, I know he means well and has all good intentions. As I said to kindof am hoping to do all the BFing my self tho but am sure he will help with other bits. Just god help him if he starts to moan!

Right no plans for the day! wanted to do some online shopping but its not worth doing till pay day on friday as there is only enough money for a small shop and we have enough to last till then with the exception of a loaf of bread and some loo roll. Think its more sofa surfing then, start with NCIS and then either Sanctuary or Supernatural hmmm!

My DH has said this too, but I feel bad waking him up when he doesn't need to be awake and then we're both knackered the next day. To be honest all you'll probably want is to get your lil lady fed and changed asap so you can get back to sleep!

Labour vibes for those at the top and sticky vibes for those at the end ofthe list! Hugs for everyone in between.

    *big sigh*

Just can't get away from you and your great wealth of knowledge:p;):rotfl:

I'm not going to think about the whole breastfeeding thing right now but once I've seen the bean and see he's ok I will start looking into it.

My midwife did say she was going to talk to someone special for me about it.
