Usually its 32 weeks Gill :)

Just had my clary sage bath, now to mix the oils together for the massagy bit.

I accidently put to much oil in the bath, i did 3 drops when it was running and was going to put another 2 in when it was done, but i accidently put more drops in afterwards. It was soo relaxing though, i nearly fell asleep :)

I swear i felt the baby's leg, i could see and feel a long bony thing and it kept moving away when i was poking it lol :)

EA - is there any risk to adding too much? What does it smell like?

bexta - tut tut naughty bubs lol.

gill - RLT after 32 weeks is ok. Most of us here have /are doing 1 cup 32 to 34 weeks. 2 cups to 36, 3 cups to 38 and 4 cups after 38 :D

kal - good luck witha picking up the bits you need, the ladies her have made some fab suggestions. Check out carboots and NCT sales aswell.

OH is snoring on the sofa and its really annoying me! its bad enough listening to him thru the night. Does anyone else have an OH who likes his sleep a lil too much. Makes me think when it comes to sleep deprivation with LO he is gonna be a real nigtmare!

Congratulations and welcome to the world Charlotte Eve! :j

You have given me hope! With my DD I had 3 days of contractions 20 mins apart, too painful to sleep through but not proper labour painful iyswim, followed by a 26 hour labour. I'm banking on this one being quicker! :D

I dont think there is, i did look it up but found nothing.

I like the smell, its hard to describe though. But OH hates it lol.

But sniffing it made me a little light headed, which was weird lol
  • Yay Congrats Twinkles :D Welcome to the world Charlotte (good name-I'm biasd my eldest is a Charlotte :D)

Som, I was like that with DH when we were pg with our 1st child,he was THE heaviest sleeper ever and I was dreading having a new baby and listening to him snoring away obliviously whilst I sat feeding baby in bed. But when she arrived it was like our sleeping habits reversed :D He would wake if she so much as rolled over and he would lie staring at her while she slept but I didn't stir until she properly woke up for a feed. It seemed the responsibility made him more aware IYKWIM? Then when our DS was born and I moved from breast to bottle feeding at about 3 months I would wake some mornings thinking DS had slept through, only to go out to the landing to see the empty bottle/s on the windowsil and it so happened that DS hadn't slept though but I had and DH had fed and changed him without me waking lol. Whoops.

  • Oh and yes I'd agree about RLT, Idrank it with my last and she was born within half hour of getting to hosp and wasn't even really sure if i was in labour til I arrived- MW examined me and I was 5cm and she broke my waters and straight away I needed to push,Mw had a little look and said 'oh yes, here baby comes' Lol. (although aftwerwards I did feel a little like I was in shock cos it was so quick)
I am guessing it was the RLT although it was my 3rd baby. 1st baby was 10 hrs,
2nd was 5 hrs. So less than an hour with the last I'm kind of hoping cos it has been 6 yrs that this one won't be quicker I don't want a suprise home birth :D

  • Hi everyone

Glad that everyone has had a good day. :j Well...I have until Thursday. Not long to go now, although I am trying to get this baby started. Had spicy food last night with a one and a half hour dog walk and tonight I had a two hour dog walk. Tomorrow night is the dog walk and pineapple! :rotfl:I haven't been able to drink this RLT as it really does make me want to puke. _pale_ I just can't stand it! Sorry! Been bouncing on the ball for ages, although this doesn't seem to have done anything. I have the mw tomorrow so we'll see what she says then.
    Sleep tight everyone
    :love:Baby Bump born 4th March 2010! :kisses:
