Oh yes - and my Dad.
He's another 'don't get me anything' - but if we actually got him nothing he'd sulk for weeks!

And MIL, FIL, 2 X great nanas, Sisters OH.

That must have been terrible (and scary) for you- I know I missed out a bit on bonding with ds1 as I was really sick after the GA for my first cs. I'm surprised they let your OH be there though - my ex had to wait outside during my emergency cs.

Well done Archie! Toilet training is a weird time in a kids life

DH wasn't in the room during the c section, he was left in a bench outside and Chris was wheeled past then me and everyone forgot about him. He was there when everything hit the fan afterwards, he says the scariest part was when they wheeled in the crash trolley and they kept opening up packs (the eclampsia pack is in a yellow box) and just injecting me with one thing after another. I do remember waking up at points, looking around (I had tunnel vision could only see a small circle in front of me) seeing all these people and I just thought 'sod that' and went back to sleep. As well as that he was getting updates from NICU. But it all turned out ok and it was 4 years ago now so we are mostly recovered from it :D

The boys have made a huge mess with coloured paper cutting up, hope thet know that they will be tidyingit up:cool:

You're as savvy as me and go with your extended family! ;).

It was hard work in Spain this summer and that was with me, DH, Mum, Dad and two sisters taking charge of them! :rotfl:.

oh and the proofing never ends, family friend's 16yo son was taken to A&E last week after eating an entire pot noodle made from a kettle filled with descaling fluid :rotfl:

I know I really shouldn't be laughing at this but :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning all..

MFD, hope the bath helps! :) Was Benjamin okay overnight? xx

My friend txt me at 10am, asking if I was ready for visitors.. The txt woke me up! :o  Have told her 11am.. hopefully will be sorted by then!

Rhys slept 2am to 10am too.. hurrah! Apart from Tuesday night, that's over a week of sleeping too almost 9am at least :D I take it this is the luring me into a false sense of security bit, and soon enough he'll be back to waking in the night and I'll feel like death warmed up! :p

I'm glad it's raining. OH is supposed o be taking the tree in the front garden down but there's more chance he won't if it's raining so we can go into town later :) Then I'm hoping to tidy our bedroom to free up some storage boxes for sorting all the stuff scattered around Rhys' room.
  • I had one of 'those' painkillers with Poppy after my stitches! Consultant said it works for x hours and boy didn't I know when my time was up! :rotfl:. Nothing with Jamie though.

I actually took boxes of paracetamol in my labour bag and self medicated myself after the births in hospital. I just wrote down each time I took them and told the MW when she asked if I needed anything. Obviously not recommended but I had been tipped off that you can be waiting a l-o-n-g time for them to come back to you especially when in your own room!

    xx

I have introduced the boys to the joys of paper snowflake making :D

Thinking of making a load then putting some glitter on them and hanging them from colourful paper chains for Christmas.
