:rotfl: I'll go into that 'holiday' like a SAS soldier going on hard routine ;) the best bit is we're in a challet and Chris is sharing with his 19yo uncle - should be fun!

oh and the proofing never ends, family friend's 16yo son was taken to A&E last week after eating an entire pot noodle made from a kettle filled with descaling fluid :rotfl:

    You're brave!

Is the son ok? And how was he expected to taste the difference?

Apparantly (I asked a midwife) they have done studies that say paracetemaol and anti infamitories do the job as well as conventional "strong" pain killers so they now give these and less of the codine etc.

    LIARS!!!!! :mad::rotfl:

I'm glad your husband had a good first day, Sue :)

:( for SM, it'll get easier.

:T for climbing, potty-using, crawling babies.

A great big OMNOMNOM for proper hot chocolate. I had one in Italy on our honeymoon that was Nutella dissolved in hot milk. My spoon was practically vertical in the cup, and the sugar rush afterwards was enough that Husband banned me from having one the next morning. He wanted to have a little sleep after breakfast and I was lying beside him poking him in the ribs asking if we could go out yet .. huh? huh? how about now? Apparently I was so hyped up that the bed was vibrating :rotfl:

    :grouphug: for whoever I missed.

Molly was up half the night, but she properly giggled in her sleep for the first time. Hopefully that cute little baby laugh will replace the Beavis and Butthead huuuuuurrrrrrrrr she's been doing up to now.And now she's contentedly flailing in bed while I have computer time, bless her. She even let me take a shower!

Thanks for sharing the birth stories. I've never had a c-section or stitches and I found it interesting :)

I got a free sample of Winter Liquid Chocolate from Hotel Chocolat. It's chocolate flakes flavoured with orange, spices and chilli and it melts into hot milk - *yum*

So excited as I'm going to collect Jack at lunchtime :j:j

Morning .... I'm diving around the house tidying up like mad, occasional bits of cleaning, wondering when I'm going to make this shepherd's pie .... parents are already on their way! And they're bringing my Nanny too, which means we will have 4 generations in the house, we'll try to get some good photos! ttfn x

I have had very little sleep, nothing particular, both kids slept fine, I just had one of those nights where everything and anything goes through your mind and you cant relax enough to drift off !! Oh well, lets hope I get a bit of a nap later after gymnastics !!

Have decided that I am a lazy b*gger, I havent done any washing this week at all and the laundry basket is beyond full and I am almost out of clean clothes for Dylan !! Really need to get my !!! in gear and start looking after all the housey stuff.

Hope you are all well and have a lovely day planned.

Oh and tigs, that will be lovely !! I have a picture of Jasmine, me, my mum and my nanny on Jasmines 1st christmas and having the 4 generations together is fantastic !!

My son must've known I didn't sleep too well last night and stayed asleep till 8am this morning. He's know on his way to Grandma and Grandads while I wait in for a parcel being delivered and then who knows what the rest of the day holds??

Becles- I'm so jealous that you're picking the new pup up today I'd love another doggy as a friend for Oscar.

Tigs - Have a great day with all the relatives, look forward to the photos.

Searching - Hope you have fun making with Zoe, do we get to see photos of them??

Everyone else, have great days whatever you are doing/decide to do??

    Morning everyone.

A tidying/ironing day for us today.
The children haven't been sick since early hours yesterday - but i'm keeping them away from gymnastics & playscheme just incase.

Somebody linked to these a while back, for fingerprint charms?

Whoever it was, thank you! I got OH some hand print cuffs for Christmas, they came yesterday and they're so cute! :D

I need to sort through my christmas list and see what I still need to get.
I think Mum is my biggest problem? I have no idea what to get her.

  • Morning all - everyone sounds a bit down :(

Or it could be the 'voice' I am reading your posts with...

I still have this cold - 2+ weeks and counting :(

Hubby has taken Benjamin out for a couple of hours to pick DSS up so I am off for a nice hot (quiet!) bath.

    (((HUGS)))

    MFD xxx

PS - today I am going to see if I can buy a toy of that BMI Baby red man because Benjamin loves him so much!!

  • have fun doing whatever you decide dora !!

3 - good to ear the kids havent been sick in a while :) My sister got a fingerprint pendant last year for her wee one and it is beautiful !!
Its my dad that is always my problem. My mum shows me and my sister 3 or 4 tops she likes and 3 or 4 perfumes etc... and we chose from that !! Easy !! But ask my dad and 'oh i dont need anything, spend your money on the kids' !! Yeah and not buy my dad for christmas, he would be gutted if he didnt get a pressie !! Although i usually only spend about 10 - 15 quid on him, but its the principle of it !!
