Paranoid momma mode. Andrew's 14 weeks but 3 weeks corrected. And the only noises he makes is when he cries or chunters in his sleep, I'm not getting any coos, gurgles, grunts or hums.
Awww Tigs, I've done my paranoid mummy bit today already. Lil miss only started cooing at about 12 weeks, until then I had to make do with the 'ellie ellie ellie' when she angrily chomped on the dummy.0 -
Erin is lots of things MM, but sweet, no!!!
Mega journey Bruno.
Tigs, just my experience but some boys tend to be a little behind as they are so laid back that they're in no hurry to do anything. Certainly the case at baby club yesterday, as Maddy rolled across the floor boys a month older haven't even rolled once. My eldest (OH 42) is still in no hurry!!! Having said that it gives them a very calm personality.Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
I work for the world's biggest provider of corporate credit cards
so I know it's possible! But it can be a hassle.

And SS, fingers crossed for your OH, must be a horrible position to be in, when they decided to keep him in did they say when the next steps would be, or next review, or anything like that?
Assorted expenses commenting people, I know this doesn't work for everyone and all circs, but have you thought about taking out a specific additional credit card for those expenses? It makes it clean and simple, means you get an interest-free period where you can get work to settle with you, and you can even then collect membership rewards/cashback/whatever while working.
I'm glad you had a good time Bruno - Bruges is horribly expensive but then I think mainland Europe is in most cities, especially in comparison with the UK. A kebab here would be €3-4, whereas a big one with chips near my parents' house is £2.
Husband's had two more units of blood and they're measuring his various stats overnight to see what's going on. The idiopathic Hg drop is a serious problem because there's no obvious bleed and they've checked everywhere. But he's hoping to be out soon and is in reasonable spirits. I'm just hoping it isn't as serious as it could be, you know?
Great idea about the CC. I always use Quidco when booking my hotel rooms - sneaky way of getting cash back and the secretary loves me because I only hassle her when I'm looking for stationery or faxes.
Hugs and goodnight for all - Molly's fed and back in bed (still in her clothes - she barely woke to feed and I didn't want to disturb her) so I'm going to poke my research proposal a bit more and then head to bed. See you all Sunday night after my friends have goneCan someone please take note of all momentous events? Thanks lovelies!

Right back to cleaning the fish tank before the fish die. Christopher fed them a full tub of flake this morning and they are gasping at the top of the tank.0

Oh Sami, I told my tutor about the tiny shoddy news feature earlier... She's going to have a ring around, see if she can get her face in somewhere with some proper research backed stuffTigsteroonie wrote: »Sorry, I thought it was compulsory to have at least one "paranoid parent" conversation in here every week :rotfl: I'm not bothered really, I'll just feel much happier when Andrew's had his hearing test next week.
good hearing test: stand out of Andrew's eye line and clap once loudly - does he react? yes = he's definitely fine No= he's more than likely fine but mention it to a medical person0 -
