Mel - I tough I'd quoted you earlier but didn't realise it hadn't done it
I think you should see the doc too, it would take superwoman to not get depressed in your situation and talking about it with someone objective might help xxx

I have 3 slings; a ring sling that I don't use/like a wrap and a joey (mei tai) I love my Joey mostest though.

I have a couple of one life nappies that I got in a sample pack from the council... I found they come down quite low on Caitlyn's legs when she's in a size 1 wrap but they seem a bit better in a size 2 wrap...

Are the bum genius like the pop in SS? I have 2 of those too... I think they fit lovely compared to a nappy and a wrap... But not tried one with a night time booster though...

Exactly Krystal - the nighttime insert is very bulky but fits fine and we have very few poopsplosions compared with when she has Pampers (if we're out and about).

MFD - your CM sounds lovely. She's really working out what Benjamin will like. I'm so impressed!

can I ask a question of the SAHM's - now people are going back to work do any of you worry what your LO is misisng out on by not being at nursery?! I'm starting to wonder.........

No worries here either - we do 1 to 4 groups a week and LO is slowly becoming less clingy (although he did burst in to tears today when he lost sight of me at toddler group) I'm actually putting off going back to work as I don't think he is ready to leave me for a full day yet and I can't find anything that is short enough shifts to avoid that.
    Hi all,

Can I join please? Isla Mae was born Thursday 19th Nov at 4.34am, we had to stay in overnight due to meconium in the waters but since coming home she's doing great and OH and myself are besotted and completely in love with her.

Ive lurked a bit the past few days but havent had chance to post until now, I recognise a few names from the preg thread. Just waiting for the HV to call and do her heel !!!!! test.

We're breast feeding and so far going ok. A few latching issues as I have hugely inverted nipples:o so may be crying out for help and advice soon.

Oh, and this is my princess IslaMae.jpg

Hi congratulations. I have/had really inverted nipples too and lo couldn't
feed for first 2 mths so you arfe doing well.

I bought a ring sling as its 'baby k' and Isla's surname begins with a K and Ive made my wrap sling and have all the bits ready to make my mei tai, just need to find half an hour to stitch it all together.

The wee one's waking for a feed, I'll pop back later hopefully and thanks for the warm welcome.

Mel, you havent really told us much about whats happening, but I get the feeling you could really do with having a chat with someone, so perhaps GP would be a good place to start. I am not sure how you think everything is your fault, as generally there is more than 1 person to blame for everything. We are all here for you no matter what :o

Hope all the TC ladies are having fun :)

If anyone wants cheaper washable wipes, just the wipes... The nappy lady have them here...

Although still not as cheap as ikea flannels...
