Weezl, you are very crafty! I wish I was a bit more imaginative.....although you have given me lotsa ideas!! I ahve been keeping junk from the kitchen, such as egg boxes, loo rolls, bottles etc. to make stuff with katie.....but I get stuck as to what to do with them!!!
I am crafty in both senses of the word carla
here's the link to the blown egg decorations, I've just painted mine with gold crackle paint from the art shopdidn't bother with the ribbon as didn't like the look of it

feel all excited now bout meeting all the girls....
MFD- if we organise another one hopefully you can come then!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Well, got H up at around 8.30am this morning so that's her fed and back in her Moses basket for a nap hopefully. Having a quick bit of toast and tea, then hopefully time for a shower before H wants back up.
Books - I go through phases of reading. I used to read more when I got the train to work, but less since I started driving. I read loads on holiday. I had loads of books on my Amazon wish list, and for my birthday, OH sent the list to MIL and she bought them all!!!! God knows when I will get through them all. I don't find I have a spare minute at the moment. I read chick lit, Ian Rankin, James Patterson, Joanne Harris, Christopher Brookmyre and loads of other things. I have loads of books and would hate to sell them, although I rarely read the same book twice!
I need to get my butt in gear. I haven't even sent away my child benefit claim form yet. Going to spend today doing things like that, cooking and generally organising stuff. Yesterday was meeting MIL and SIL at one shopping centre with H (who would not stay in the pram and I had to carry her around the nosey wee thing!) and then on to another shopping centre, where I met friends for dinner (OH came to meet me there and took H home).
I am really getting fed up with this wind problem Holly has. She has been screaming in her sleep the past few nights and is reallly narky during the day, poor thing. I just feel so helpless. Went and got her Colacynth granules on Sunday so trying those now (thanks Hobo if you are lurking!). Everything else with her is great though. OH has even tried her in her Bumbo as her head control is brilliant now. It's not good enough to leave her in it without supervision though!!
Have I missed anything important??0 -

I actually found that film unwatchable. Everyone I know recommended it because they fancy Gerald Butler but his accent was sooooo off putting that I couldn't sit through it. And I never switch films off no matter how bad they are!!! The book was a bit better, but I didn't really like her writing style. Over use of characters' names in my opinion - I found it a bit strange!0 -

Then with a dish underneath to catch the insides of the egg, blow very hard into one end of the egg, and blow the egg out. DO NOT SUCK! This is very bad.Mummy to

right, off for a shower. Just remembered I wanted to pick up a Tommee Tippee Flask/Bottle Warmer thing - am fed up of going out and places refusing to warm bottles using hot water due to health & safety
Just checked prices and seem same everywhere - Toys R Us opens at 9am so will nip there, get Jack weighed, nip to ASDA, pop home to fill flask ready for later and then leave!
See you laterI think they sell it, tesco deff do. Wish I was at TC with you all!
maybe its just our branch that lets people have the voucher amount off the 241
i have just realised how little i actually know about my job, its a miracle my customers can see :rotfl:
another lazy morning here, seth slept til 8.30am (in our bed!!) i gave him a bottle and he went straight back off again, so he and OH are still up there snoozing and i got a nice lazy cuppanot completely unpestered though, i appear to have two cats in my dressing gown with me
oh and reading, i dont do readingi will quite happily read a chapter or two but i'll forget to come back to it after!
Em - I think you're in the magic TC earnings bracket, thats about what ours is and we seam to get lots of TCs after we'd discussed how much we get on here last year I was worried I'd have to pay some back but in the end we got a little 'lump sum' after renewals
MFD- what is this relaxing you speak of?? (I'm thinking maybe it'll happen in about 18-20 years?):rotfl:
Edgar is still asleepgonna warm my crossiant now, I bet he wakes up when there's 5 seconds to go

Krystaltips wrote: »We got a little lambs size 1 bundle on eBay which came with fleecey liners... They're lovely, really soft and furry... But I'm also making my own liners and the moment by blanket stitching 2 layers of Ikea fleece together... Not tried them out yet, but I used to use them for Aimee... But single layer only, I never got round to stitching hers together lol...
Do you also use one of those disposable sheets that are flushable to catch the poo? We were given 150 but find we don't really bother!
