Right any ideas where i can get these quicker, not sure I chance the 3-5 weeks delivery...i've looked in the normal places like ebay / play.com

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/images/0746089201/ref=dp_image_0?ie=UTF8&n=266239&s=books

have you tried usborne directly? otherwise they have reps who do parties, I'm sure if you enquired they would be able to sell you the snap cards directly?

otherwise I'd try an old fashioned toy shop/childrens book shop:confused:

okay - my turn. I saw a little boy with a cup/bowl with handles with a special lid on it today when out and about - the idea was that the lid kept the snacks in, but let his hand go in and out. I thought it was a great idea. anyone know what they are, if they are any good and where I can get one?!

DH has the opinion that not enough research has gone into the jab and its being rushed through too quickly. I'm not so sure but we're not making any decisions just yet.

    xx

thats our views SB! I dont really want my children to be guinea pigs. However, i think I would think differently if either of them had underlying issues IYSWIM??

MFD - your CM sounds lovely. She's really working out what Benjamin will like. I'm so impressed!

can I ask a question of the SAHM's - now people are going back to work do any of you worry what your LO is misisng out on by not being at nursery?! I'm starting to wonder.........

rmac, I think that if you take the little ones to a hadnful of mother/toddler groups or the like, I think there is time enough for them to start pre-school and then nursery and then primary school. I thought about this too, but my view was that I take Katie to mother n toddler group twice a week and just recently Rhymetime one other day. She also gets time to play with her 4 yr old cousin alomst everyday too and we have regular playdates with my friend who has children too....
but then again, I guess that someone who has childen at nursery have their own views that would conflict mine too....!??
    Carla-Farla!! :)

Nope :D I think as long as you take LO to groups they get all the social interaction they need
although I'm currently toying with the idea of taking Ed to a group at sure start that has a creshe place for Chris at the same time which would mean Chris had 2hours in a nursery type environment

Poppy was around 18m when we put her name down to start when she was 2. She goes one morning and one afternoon session per week and loves it so much! Most of my friends have older or younger children and as she is so sociable we wanted her to mix with her own age group and do all the good things things like painting, sticking, sanding, watering! :D.

She is ace! I am so lucky to have found her.

LO has plenty of time to go to nursery in years to come.
