  • I don't like the arms, it seems everyone I knew has gone. I feel like a stranger there, despite doing most of my posting (and about 5,000 others that aren't counted, oops) over there, but not so much since I stopped drinking. Talking of which, it is 3 YEARS in a few days. Can't stop thinking about baileys though, could really go for a glass of that!

Bruno - I so understand the early night thing, when we're having a bad time I half kill myself keeping my late nights up until I end up collapsing to bed one day at about 8pm LOL I feel like as an adult I shouldn't be going to bed 'early'

Tigs - if you're interested in baby sign do mention it at SS as you may find they're considering it - when I asked about it they were looking into it so put my details in the file and I got the first place :D

oh and I ain't scared of no post.....ers in the arms  I've was followed to the preg thread by a certain poster once but I do try to be mindful of what I say

  • I used to post in the arms all the time and still have friends down there that I like to keep up with when I have the time/inclination :)

Benjamin woke three times in the night again last night  He is a fantastic sleeper between 7.30pm and 2.30am but after that it is a lottery.

Unlike Bruno though, my bedtime seems to be getting later and later  I used to be an 11pm girl, these days it is rarely before midnight.

What has everybody got planned for this weekend?

    morning all

mel, could you apply for a hardship loan to get you through for a bit ??

    Hi MM

I have done, twice! But all they allow is £500pm and nearly all of that has gone to pay nursery fees....they won't wait! The out of hours care for the two older ones are thankfully more patient, I still haven't paid them anything yet...not sure what I would have done if they had wanted their money too.

I am apparantly not allowed to apply to the access to learning fund until my finance is in place:confused: So that is out too.

I will manage somehow, I may be able to get in for one of the days....I will just have to decide which one:rotfl:

I am still unsure about carrying on anyway..as It would take just as long to complete my degree with the OU as staying here now, given that I will most likely need to take a year out.....I doubt I could manage to go straight onto year two with 4 kids, one of which is 18mths old and the other 3mths old!!! If I just finish this term and at least I can get my loans etc then I can pay everyone money that I owe them, then leave. I could then sign up and start an OU course in Feb:p

Thinking of going to visit my nan and grandad, I haven't seen them since my dad's funeral nearly 3yrs ago!!! It seems funny because they are his parents and I know they are still my nan and grandad but I feel like I'm not part of their family now...iygwim

    Mel x

    Morning all..

Rhys slept 12.30am to 10.15am! :D :j And, even better, he still knew how to breastfeed even though we haven't done it for about ten days (I didn't want to be stressing about how much he was getting whilst on holiday :o). He's lying on the bed, shouting at OH now.. his voice is coming back, obviously, just sounds like it's broken now

I've got lots of jobs to do today but also promised OH we'd go out so I'd best make the most of him still being in bed for now. We've got Rhys' room buddie and his parent coming over tomorrow afternoon so I need to make a cake at some point too :)
