:eek::eek: Poor little love! :eek::eek:
I do worry sometimes because Liv moans about the littlest scratch so much, if she had a serious injury, i wouldn't believe her!
I have a friend with a seriously accident prone boy - I think she's terrified me about stuff..... once he came home after his friend was messing about and hitting him on the elbow with a cricket bat - his lower arm was flopping about out of the elbow socket! :eek:
Another time, he came home with two fingers from his left hand, in his right hand! She was very calm and wrapped the fingers and hand in frozen peas, before driving them to A&E. They managed to fully attach one finger, and attach most of the other. :eek::beer:0 -
Meant to tell you all about the food list we were given yesterday.. It's horrendous!! :eek:
The list of free foods babies with kidney issues (albeit very serious ones - we don't have to stick to it quite to religiously with Rhys) includes pink wafer biscuits, marshmallows, Frosties, Iced Gems and shortbread biscuits - and gala melon. The no-no list includes brocolli, courgette, sweet potato, parsnips, bananas and avacado - and cantaloupe and honeydew melon. What's the difference in the melons?!
Like I said last night, everything is to be boiled and not steamed, and we're not to use cooking water to thin anything down, just plain water.
It's like the complete opposite of everything else I've ever read on baby foods!0 -
Aimee has a silvercross dolls pram.. Great big hulking thing takes up far more room than is necessary! It's just gone in the new shed tonight so I can see a bit of the dining room
Bloody hubby just went into the bathroom for a number two while I was feeding caitlyn... He takes forever... And stinks... Nice of him to check if I needed to go first!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I can't take my eyes off her for a second. Fridays are always housework day so I might have to bung a load of toys in her cot and buy myself 10 mins or so that way!
Ladybird I got a toilet lock because of the same reason and it lasted about a week before someone too impatient to notice yanked the lid up and tore it off....I then used my foot to keep the lid down whenever in the bathroom with LO as I got fed up with reattaching it (using no more nails each time).
tss - is it your LO that has bad reflux? how is it now?
I'm finding these flood stories scary and quite upsettingI'm very glad I live up a hill though!
Sami - no archie never had reflux - just very bad wind/poss colic for a while.MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0 -
Grrr.. mum's just told me SIL has swine flu :cool: Mum's spent all day with my sis who apparently is showing no signs of it. Also, Mum's friend's daughter has it and Mum's shared an office with her earlier in the week. How long do we stay away from mum for... or am I being neurotic?0
