oh pinkyp I think I understand, I'm a bit of a snob (not saying you are tho) OH has 2 cousins around our age who have bubbas similar ages to ours so you'd think it would be a perfect play group but I refuse to be anything more than civil with them because they are too common for my liking :p :rotfl:
I'm not posh or anything but I want to 'protect' my boys from poor grammar, pronunciation etc as much as possible

:rotfl:Sami you have seen through my pretending not to be a snob so well:rotfl:Chavtastic!!

Had Dylan at physio this morning and she couldnt do much as he was coughing and being sick loads, then went ot docs in the afternoon and he has been given antibs to clear his chest and an inhalor :( All my family have or had asthma, and I have passed it on to both my kids, so in all honesty, I feel a bit crap for making him more sick than he already was.
Jasmine hurt her leg and has hobbled round the house all night saying it needs to be cut off !! However when I said there was sweets in the kitchen, she was perfectly able to run and get them !!

Come on, it's not like you hand picked every virus and made him swallow it was it? (((hugs)))

SM do you have a The Works shop? they have lots of card making scrapbooking stuff. Hobbycraft is pretty expensive but good for ideas I bet you could get most stuff from home bargains type shops and £1 shops

  • SM I think OH will suss out how he is. DD1 is nearly 16 and its my fault but she has led such a sheltered life. OH son has grown up on an estate in a city and I dont want her thinking her New big step brother is cool if hes not IYKWIM- her cool and mine are totally different:rolleyes:

No fair enough, but its my family gene thats given them bad chests, and the fact that I smoked through my whole pregnancy with Jasmine and untill she was 6, then started again when Dylan was in hospital. Rightly I never smoke in the house or near them, but I am sure it doesnt help. I know deep down its not my fault, but still ..... boo :o:rolleyes:

  • Sami you must be "posh" you can spell pronunciation!! I think i would have got that wrong. Then again i'm probably common as my grammar is awful, i'm always being picked up by my dad. He is always nit picking at the news when they say stupid things like "she is going to sing solo by herself..........".

Oh and sami, meant to thank you for the chilli packet, it came a few days ago and took me by surprise as i'd forgotten all about it. Big thanks! DH will like that.
