reall annoys me that ppl have the cheek to strike when so many ppl have been made unemployed recently. fair enough, i can see their pov about their pay/work conditions etc, but surely some of it shuld be grateful to have a job!!??

couldnt agree more ... philip is dieing for a job and he cant get a look in anywhere and these people are going on strike for more money ... greedy bu99ers the lot of them x

    hello

been missing in action for the last week - been manic and racing up and down the country (unexpectedly for the most part!). I've tried to read back but keep getting interupted - will anyone offer to do me a run down on what I've missed? *flutters eyelashes*

Wana know the worst of it? DH told me that the union reps who organise the strikes arrange them for their days off so they don't miss out on pay!

Sami you must be "posh" you can spell pronunciation!! I think i would have got that wrong. Then again i'm probably common as my grammar is awful, i'm always being picked up by my dad. He is always nit picking at the news when they say stupid things like "she is going to sing solo by herself..........".

Oh and sami, meant to thank you for the chilli packet, it came a few days ago and took me by surprise as i'd forgotten all about it. Big thanks! DH will like that.
hehe I actually spelled it wrong but I use spellcheck :D

ooh surprise post is always good isn't it! hope you like it xx
princess anything you find cool is not cool to a 16 year old :rotfl: .. but im guessing she'll be smart enough to realise "getting wasted" every day/weekend is not big or clever ...

sami theres a works near me .. to be honest just looking forward to a day out and im hopefully going to see gok to so happy happiness :D x
ooh get him to sign your bangers!

:Dsami, you'd have loved the way my mum used to parent me and my brother. We used to sing along in the car to my dad's favourite fleetwood mac album.

whole family singing: 'been down one time, been down two times'
mum turning round to me and bro in back seat: 'and what should it be children?'
    us in unison:'been down twice!'

    we were 5 and 3!:rotfl:

Oh and I have another question for you all...all the family keep asking me what to get LO for christmas. She'll be 10months old. I've run out of suggestions. I'm hoping she will get a mix of toys, clothes and boring useful items (!) covering the next 12 months or so. What can people recommend? Her santa present is a wooden rocking horse :D
