    hello

been missing in action for the last week - been manic and racing up and down the country (unexpectedly for the most part!). I've tried to read back but keep getting interupted - will anyone offer to do me a run down on what I've missed? *flutters eyelashes*
Hello lovely! I hope the unexpected things weren't bad or at least if they were that it's ok now xx

Glam's OH is talking about finally getting wed after a very long engagement
My Chris is potty trained (no accidents today :j)
Sugar's OH has some kind of hernia/bowl obstruction so she's had to take parental leave as she was due back at work and is flying her mum over to help
Coleen Rooney has had a baby boy called Kai Wayne
MFD, Mooki, 3 and Em (did I miss anyone) are preparing to go back to work/having [probs organising it
    Rhys is 9lbs
Scruffy is living with parents after selling her house and not finding a new one
feely has been having it tough is being more open with family and professionals to help her

    errr thats all I remember

Oh and I have another question for you all...all the family keep asking me what to get LO for christmas. She'll be 10months old. I've run out of suggestions. I'm hoping she will get a mix of toys, clothes and boring useful items (!) covering the next 12 months or so. What can people recommend? Her santa present is a wooden rocking horse :D
duplo, outdoor shoes and wellies, a waterproof apron for helping mummy cook/craft, blackboard and chalks.Hair clips/pony tail bands (little girls between those ages seem to get fringe issues else :))

    will keep thinking

  • Sami, I can't spell pronunciation and I [strike]am[/strike] sound posh.

And Princess - I was brought up in a very anti-drugs (and smoking) household. When I started to come into contact with people doing drugs when I was about your daughters age I definitely didn't think they were cool. (Mind you, I learnt early on that people on drugs either throw up on/near me or forget they are going out with my friends, and try and grope me... which really didn't count in their favour!) I don't think having a sheltered upbringing necessarily means she will go crazy when she gets a chance, so long as you've brought her up with a sensible attitude to things, rather than just pretending they dont exist.

:Dsami, you'd have loved the way my mum used to parent me and my brother. We used to sing along in the car to my dad's favourite fleetwood mac album.

whole family singing: 'been down one time, been down two times'
mum turning round to me and bro in back seat: 'and what should it be children?'
    us in unison:'been down twice!'

    we were 5 and 3!:rotfl:
    LOL!
My mum had me listening to a Carol vordaman's times tables cassette (how evil :p)

My hubby knows lots of big words but not the context with which to use them... So he sticks them randomly into sentences hoping I'll think him clever...

Would work, if I didn't know what the big words meant...

Ladybird, click on thread tools ^^ up there...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
