Hiya, am popping my head in here for a little help. Dont have LOs myself, just a 6 y/o niece who by all accounts takes after me (bright as a button!) I've got her Xmas pressie sorted (2x cross stitched Finding Nemo ones - Nemo and Dory) and wondering what I can get her that's relatively cheap, isn't electrical and would be suitable as a pre-Xmas pressie (am seeing her in mid-Dec, hope to steal her off her mum for an afternoon with me, OH and her nan - my mum. Reckon sis will need a rest to wrap pressies or just have time to herself) Have time to buy and look online, just don't want to get something outlandishly expensive but something she would like?

:rotfl:Bruno I'm not sure if you read my original (Long ranty post about work) and are just teasing me, but rest assured, I'm not abandoning you all due to a stingy hubby! He thought I'd been a little too open about work and that it could come back and bite me :)

Weezl - how good is you relationship with old boss? I wonder if he/she has taken over as a bit of a favour to you...
I think its allk reasonable but would add that you understand that LM is busy but you did explain the urgency importance to her. I personally think she is being unprofessional xx

Weezl, what I read quickly, my thoughts are that one or two of those incidents on their own are nothing to really complain about, but the fact that there is so many of them, that is. It's an accumulation of things more than one incident.

  • Evening all.

Manicly busy day today, so I have wine :).

Weezl - didn't read the post before it went, but hope you're ok!

Elfen - I don't know much about six year olds, but how about stickers? Or a skipping rope if she doesn't already have one?

ok am i sad but im really looking forward to going to hobbycraft on saturday to get stuff to make for xmas, xmas hampers and tree decs :D x

Isn't Hobbycraft really pricey though? Have you tried looking for it all from one seller on Ebay (then you're only paying one set of postage)?
Heated the rice in the oven... The rice in the corners went a bit crispy but it was fine... Fingers crossed we don't go on to get food poisoning Elle :p (I did cool it down and put it in the fridge straight away last night ;))

    Good good :D

Aww ladybird, if she hasn't got one, she'd love one! She's all sporty and clever and she makes me proud. And I'm sure I could find a sparkly pink one! (And if I do I'll let you all know)
