Weezl, someone should be available until 9pm so if she rings now she should get through... :)

Bought the girls up to bed an hour ago... Just caught Aimee faffing about in the bathroom and Caitlyn is rolling over, popping her head up over the top of the cot and whinging, showing no signs at all of dropping off to sleep...

Carla on the Xmas decorations front, why not make salt dough decorations one day, another day to paint them, another day to glitter/pva/thread them then you've got some for your tree and fabulous home made gifts for grannies/aunties etc.

Good idea! Thanks - i had the idea of playdoh -- thanks BM for that recipe too - all the one si looked online had cream of tarter in it too, so thats great for me! BTW, what is that cream of tartar stuff!??

weezl- i think you have every right to be annoyed.
wont quote your post but from what you ahve put down , to me seems you have been treated appallingly by your line manager. not to have a email or phonecall for 10 days is disgraceful.

are your union going to back you up as well?

They would come - en masse!!
Mfd, what time did you say for them to come? Being his family, do you think he'd be able to cope? LOL

I think he might manage ;)

    MFD,

about the evening with hubby's family... how does he feel about it?

I know you have a really good relationship with your in laws, so maybe you'd really like to be there, but for me having a prior arrangement that took me away from part of the evening would be, ahem, a helpful arrangement:o :)

kristal, the number in your sig, what hours is it 'manned'. I sent it to my BIL's GF (they had our nephew, charlie last week) cos it seems that BF is going badly for them :(

LOL - I am sure he will be fine with them! It just means I have to have everything sorted as I want it to be before I go out!! I will drill into him that I want the kids in the living room part of the house and the adults in the dining room/kitchen part of the house. Kids can then occupy themselves on the variety of games consoles and will be less inclined to go upstairs (and wake sleeping baby!!)
I will also tell DSS...because at least I know he will listen to me ;):D

Weezl - lets start with your relationship with your old boss (who is calling you) was it a good one? Do you feel he understood and respected your personal idiosyncrasies? (I am not being rude - we all have them! and as a manager one of my jobs is to treat each member of my staff differently, according to what they require to maximise their performance)

EDIT: You may not want to reply. Feel free to PM if you want to chat about it...if you think I would be of help of course!
I will in no way be offended if you don't - I am writing my Benjamin Carers Manual this evening :)

Oh - and I echo Sami - SIL needs to get herself to a Booby Club ASAP.
You could also point her in the direction of this thread to ask for help too....although I appreciate that you may not want to do so (I wouldn't want anyone from my RL muscling in on here!!!)
