    Is Granada the one on 3 on the TV? Ours is TyneTees. My dad used to get annoyed when they had some "woman with a broad Australian accent" he couldn't understand on the local weather.

    Apparently usually about 8000 people die of "regular" flu each winter in England and Wales and so far 138 have died of Swine flu although it doesn't say when it dates from or how many die of regular flu at other times of year so difficult to compare. (I just did it for England and Wales because that's the figure I found for regular flu.)

    ETA: Apparently the latest estimate is that there will be 1000 swine flu deaths. [STRIKE]It's quoted in the Telegraph but I haven't been able to find an original source.[/STRIKE] The NHS has details here.

    turn off the weather when i see him....

    other week, he was saying it was sunny, but on the bbc weather they had it totally different.....

    I just read back and I am all confuzzled because I read the pages in the wrong order (going backwards from here :confused:)

    SS - glad hubby is coming out of hospital.

    Can't remember much else other than carseat discussion and toys.

    I agree that the less fancy a toy is the better. Although Benjamin just wants to crawl around and pull himself up on stuff. AF texted earlier upset about the amount of stuff she needed to take on the plane for LO and I said to dump all the toys out and take some paper :D
