Feely, exactly why are you not doing a good job do you think? Are you starving him? Abusing him? Neglecting him? Shouting, hitting, shaking him? You tell me that you have done something really bad, beyond the odd 'shut up' or crying and I will agree with you. Till then, I simply do not beleive that you are a bad mother.

Tia, I don't do anything terrible, but I'm adequate at best. I don't do enough stimulating things. I'm not patient enough. I'm not great with weaning. I worry more about him being older. As a baby, things like being stuck inside don't make that big a difference, but as he gets older it'll have a huge impact on his life.

No-one does enough stimulating things, or is patient throughout baby lifetime. Babies are not great at weaning.

Therefore, I conclude that you are doing everything fine :) keep up the good work, and don't worry more than you have to!

but I can't stop thinking it'd be best for him. I'm really not doing a good job.
just for a second take a step back, what would you say if anyone of us had wrote this?? your a fantastic mummy who BF her little boy when it was so hard but you got stubborn and stuck at it and made it a success! you can do anything you want to and i feel that you giving Toby up for adoption would be a huge mistake for both of you. You adore that LO and you are his world, you do everything for him and always make sure he comes first!

AM huge hugs and we are all here!

does anyone want a baby girl?? she is in at everything tonight!! i had a huge asda shop and as i was trying to put things away she was ripping the packets open with her teeth!!! of course this was hilarious but she still wont eat anything???

I dont think i had food poisoning, i think it was the bug SB told me about. i have found out today after going back that another 3 staff memebers have also had exactly the same thing? so hopefully it will end with me and noone else will get ill?

if anyone is interested I'm pretty sure that's the one Mel has and likes :)/QUOTE]

Me too and I love it :)
I also have a huuuuuuuuuge leak from under my bath that has leaked through the kitchen ceiling... A real nightmare because I've had a homeowner loan from the council and one of the things they're doing me is a new bathroom... I don't know when they're going to get their ar5es in gear and do it, but I don't want to have to get a plumber out and have to pay for it all, for them to turn up next week to do it... And I've lost the builders card... and I can't remember the name of the firm doing it either... Palavar!

Oh dear it must be the week for it - I have had a huge leak too from under the bath and the water was pouring in the dining room! I dont cope well with dramas like this and had to call OH home from work! think its sorted now but will have to decorate!

Feelie and AM thinking of you both :kisses3:

feelie, i;m sure at one time or another everyone of us on here have felt like we are the worst parent in the world. that we arent doing this or that, or not doing enough.
but thats what being a parent is about- worry-- my fil said that when we had Kian our lives would change forever and that things we used to worry about would seem daft and that the worry of being a parent overtakes everything, he was right. but you are not being a bad mum at all.
