yeah we 'own' this house but I hate hate hate it! I don't think there is anyway sort of a miracle that we could sell it either so choices are 'homebuyer man' or part exchange.
I had better get to bed now, night x

What's wrong with the house Sami? You can swap with me, only thing is, Christopher and Edgar must never run or make ANY noise at all, you must put up with the beetle infestation, also the chav upstairs that sings karaoke until 3am (Spandeu ballet will never sound the same ) accept the fact that once a month you will have to climb 8 flights of stairs because both lifts will be broken at the same time, listen to noisy students screaming at all hours because the dorms are nearby, bagpipes at 6am from the terratorial army, feral children everywhere, and be prepared to evacuate your house on Christmas day as someone always sets the bin rooms on fire - Christmas boxes + paper + everything else = Big fat fire at St ninians court!

    We have a deal :p

    Whats a homebuyer man?

Do you get edible sparky bits? How would I go about that? I was thinking of making/getting sparkles to leave a trail from her bedroom on Xmas eve to the pile of presents. Will be magical! I wish I was 3!

    love it :)

Will look for a linky to the edible sparklies I mean...

homebuyerman is a company that will buy any house unser any circs. Only downside is they don't give you the full market value, so I hope sami isn't forced down that route :(

Ouch, doesn't sound like a fair deal. And someone somewhere would probably love the house! They say there is a person for everyone, I'm sure the same works for a house.

House prices up here are ridiculous though, OH's parents house, is big and old, and in serious need of a clean and a loan of 12 skips to clear out the junk, but it's valued at half a million quid *faints* I'd not pay 1k for that place (well I would but not half a mill) apparently people LIKE buying old houses and doing them up. I guess it works in their favour they have half a castle standing in their garden.

They bought that house in 1984'ish for 85 thousand, I think they have made a whammy bam bam on that. Not that they'd sell it anyways.....I was thinking though, they have lots of land at the front of their house, it's way overgrown though, she tells the farmer to let the cows in there to clear it up haha. Anyhow, tangent, there is enough room to build a house I'm sure, and it would work out WAY cheaper than buying a ramshackle new build!

Would be that field you can see, you think that would be a suitable place for a house? It's a lot bigger than that though.....

Yey for edible sparkles. That would be great thanks Weezl :)

ps button, I know you don't care if mrs annoying downstairs with the big boobies complains about Keira's christmas noise, but if you were thinking of trying to stop any further stress, how about:

    Dear (man from the council),

Thank you for your visit a few weeks ago.

I just wanted to let you know that our daughter will be receiving a pair of skates for christmas and there will inevitably be a little noise as she gets used to them.

I have let my neighbour know in advance about this and asked for her patience over the few days of christmas with any bumps she hears from our flat.

I hope this will have helped neighbourly relations and I trust ths means you will not be called out to mention the christmas noise to us.

    Many thanks for your time,

    Ms Button Moons

    and to the neighbour:

    Dear Mrs (downstairs big boobies)

My partner and I wanted to be courteous and let you know that since my daughter is receiving skates for her christmas present, there may be a few bumps as she learns to use them for the couple of days over christmas.

I hope that this letter will help you to understand any noises you may hear, and to make allowances for her enjoying her new present.

Thank you for taking the time to consider our request. We hope you also enjoy the festive season.

Ms Button Moons and Mr Button Moons

That's great Weezl, I really don't want to be courteous to her below but I think I may just send that, inside a Christmas card (an ugly one!) to let her know. I did actually mention the skates to the housing officer the other day and he said "Oh how about taking her outside to learn on them" Yes, because a 3 year old, who has just opened her rollerskates is really going to wait until we all get clothed and ready to go outside and skate, plus, it's Aberdeen, it will probably be covered in snow or ice! Plus I'd rather she learned indoors, than on concrete. Ouchies!

Weezl, is there a Mountain called Idris in Wales? That's OH's name you see, told you, oddsbodskins!

  • Morning all

Another early start! 6:10am this morning . So tired but glad I had an early night.

My son has gone back to sleep but I'm expecting Poppy to wake soon so no naps for me!

    xx
