I think they have a stupid way of working things out tbh. I think we were getting £70 a week from them at one point, as OH had just gotten a job after being laid off for ages, so his earnings from the year before were less than 3k, plus his new job was low paid, and we had Keira but I'm sure she was over 1 so not getting that extra element. That wasn't the one they made me pay back though ( WAS THERE MISTAKE)
They have just told my mum she owes them 4k, they are accepting £20 a month repayments...!!!!!!, they wanted £100 a month from me!
Have you bought the house your in now? So like saving for a deposit plus the money from your place? We couldn't get a house up here for less than about 150k tbh....don't think a 10% deposit would cut it either with OH's wage. Poo!0 -
yeah we 'own' this house but I hate hate hate it! I don't think there is anyway sort of a miracle that we could sell it either so choices are 'homebuyer man' or part exchange.
I had better get to bed now, night x0 -
Button, your light's on, have you got insomnia too?x :rotfl:

Keira needs to be proud of that there middle name:D (can you guess why I'm called weezl? x)
oh tyical! my OH decided to put on the landing and bathroom light and bang around the bathroom the other morning at 6:30am about 10 seconds after I'd FINALLY got Ed to go down after an hour of grumping  and I can't shut our bedroom door because OH has some kind of disability that prevents him from hanging a door properlyseriously not one of our internal doors works properly :rotfl:
yep! our internal doors are the samescruffy96uk wrote: »Yeah still heading for round about the 22 dec:D:eek:
scruffy we moved on 20th Dec. Only tip I'd give is find out the holiday times of your solicitor and estate agent just in case. Our vendor left a whole roomful of furniture, and by the time we could contact the sols, it was too late!

Ahhh, yes it is a nice name
It's also my middle name too, I think a lot of girls born in the 80's have Louise somewhere in their name though! If we had had a boy, it would of had OH's middle name, as it's middle name, not his first name, it's too odd! Lol.
Does Fergie still sleep in your room? Must admit, I had to lob Keira into her own room by the time she was about 7/8months, she was a right fidget and I wasn't getting any sleep at all, she's be wriggling her way round the cot (and always in the morning she'd be sideways on her belly at the opposite end!) and then she'd go quiet, and then I'd worry she had stopped breathing, so I'd get up......
Boiled eggs and soldiers are lovely! I wish Keira would eat them, the only egg she will accept is a scrambled, or gummy sweet! Wish she would be more open to trying new foods though we had sucess with the black pie (steak) and I'm going to make her Princess porridge tomorrow for breakfast (Porridge with jam mixed through to make it pink!) she won't even try jam?! She is an odd un'.
Hope you manage to get back to sleep, think I might scooch off to bed to listen to my mp3 for a bit, always sends me to sleep, but then I wake up with Christina Aguilera screaming FIIIGGGGGHTTTTERR in my ear and it wakes me up!
Night xx0 -
