    evening all!!

thought i;d never get on here today. with DH off work if i dont get on in the morning i wont get on at all but he's out playing pool so its my turn.

-Glam- hope Jack is feeling better after his jabs. Kian was a little cranky but did have a great nights sleep. no sign of a temperature so the calpol is still unopened. for now at least. liking the £189!! i got excited as well but it was for the weeks since Kian was born, the actual payment i'm getting was lower. so i'm gonna ring them tomorrow and see if they will adjust it for being on mat leave.

-Helen- welcome over!! have you posted your birth story...will go and check in a bit

-Feely- hope you will be feeling better after a few days with your mum

-Weezl - congrats on team blue! very mse!! have you thought of any names yet

-mm- do you think she maybe going to let you have the day off in the week?

mclaren buggies- i know little hands get everywhere but wouldnt you make sure the baby/toddler was nowhere near the buggy when you are putting it up/down?? sami- i saw the 'carrot demo' glad i wasnt the only one who thought the carrot was in the wrong place...

Kian has been a bit cranky tonight. then fed him a bottle and he promptly brough it all back up. :( he;s fast asleep now but will need a bottle soon to replace the one he brought up.

stuck for present for DH niece (one who's mum died). she's nearly 10 and i want to get her something decent but not too expensive as she always gets tons of pressies. i was thinking a necklace or similar anyone got any ideas??

Urgh, I think I might have been sick myself if I got it in the face.
Glad hubby is on the mend.

Hello, thought it was time I posted in here. Some of you might remember me from the preg club.
Ethan is 8 days old now, can't believe how quickly time is passing by, I don't want my baby to grow up!!!!
He's a little star, he's a natural at feeding (breast feeding) and is already starting to sleep in 4 hour stretches on a night. I'm totally in love with him, even though I am so tired!

Congratulations Helen and well done on the BF success (I'm v. jealous!)

Caz I am still worried about you and am going to keep worrying about you :( have you got someone around who will be supportive/step up when needed, still?

Had the scare of my life earlier :( kitchen door was closed, we were eating supper, Elijah went out into the hall... rammed his butt into the door til it opened (should've seen this coming as he's started doing it to the bedroom door), and by the time I ran shouting in he had the off-but-still-very-hot oven door open and was bending over it    _pale_

Imagine the books that could be written by the parents of the children on this thread - Sami's Chris' activities, Elijah's adventures and Becles' Charlotte's words of wisdom :D

What's happened to Caz? Is she OK?

Jillie, if you want a more "grown up" necklace, our Debenhams sometimes has nice jewellery in. Necklaces come in presentation boxes and are about £10. Or Next?

If you want a more costume jewellery-type present, maybe Dorothy Perkins?
