Had the scare of my life earlierkitchen door was closed, we were eating supper, Elijah went out into the hall... rammed his butt into the door til it opened (should've seen this coming as he's started doing it to the bedroom door), and by the time I ran shouting in he had the off-but-still-very-hot oven door open and was bending over it :eek: :eek: :eek: _pale_
I whipped him away still shouting No, and he promptly threw up over me from the stress and drama of it all
No harm done but ugh and agh, and oven locks ordered online for express delivery (we bought one before but it didn't fit our set-up).
oh how scary! poor you:eek::eek:
toddler-proofing a house is really complex isn't it?

Bruno, have to say I am loving Elijha's tearaway attitude right now! I'm sure you are not loving is so much but for me it is entertaining reading that someone has a little boy just as bad as my two!0

Hello, thought it was time I posted in here. Some of you might remember me from the preg club.
Ethan is 8 days old now, can't believe how quickly time is passing by, I don't want my baby to grow up!!!!
He's a little star, he's a natural at feeding (breast feeding) and is already starting to sleep in 4 hour stretches on a night. I'm totally in love with him,even though I am so tired!
hello :wave:
Well done on the BF and sleeping for 4hr stretches!
Bruno - :eek: don't think I need to say anymore!
Well my poor baby is very grumpyI think I'd rather have tears at the time and then nothing rather than this. His left leg was bright red earlier, he has had 10mins where we had a few smiles but I think he remembered the pain and started crying again (fortunatley those 10mins were when I was having tea!)
Is having cuddles with Daddy now and Daddy has just said he'll stay up with him tonight - we'll see :rolleyes:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

Hiya Mel,
we've managed it in 6 of the 8 months that fergie's been here. the hardest times were when he was very small and baking bread was as off the agenda as running the New York marathon, and when I was at the 8-13th week of PG and could only eat certain very specific foods without feeling ropey! (how are you doing on that front, you ok?). I'm planning on batch cooking like mad before number 2 (Glam did this too, pre-Jack) and so I'm going to try adding on just enough for formula, although I will again give BF a try.
HTH?
