Hello, thought it was time I posted in here. Some of you might remember me from the preg club.
Ethan is 8 days old now, can't believe how quickly time is passing by, I don't want my baby to grow up!!!!
He's a little star, he's a natural at feeding (breast feeding) and is already starting to sleep in 4 hour stretches on a night. I'm totally in love with him, even though I am so tired!

    *waves wildly*

I see you had Ethan on Andrew's due date! I kinda feel like an "old hand" in here, having arrived in the Parents thread super-early :) Am jealous of your BF success :o

Yaaay for Weezl and her blue bump :D I checked lots from work and saw the news :)

Yay for Feely and her heroic cross-country journey with Tobes in tow!

Caz I am still worried about you and am going to keep worrying about you :( have you got someone around who will be supportive/step up when needed, still?

Had the scare of my life earlier :( kitchen door was closed, we were eating supper, Elijah went out into the hall... rammed his butt into the door til it opened (should've seen this coming as he's started doing it to the bedroom door), and by the time I ran shouting in he had the off-but-still-very-hot oven door open and was bending over it    _pale_

I whipped him away still shouting No, and he promptly threw up over me from the stress and drama of it all
No harm done but ugh and agh, and oven locks ordered online for express delivery (we bought one before but it didn't fit our set-up).
  • OMG Bruno, bet you were just as scared as he was !!!

sugarspun, glad to hear ur hubbys on the mend,

emlou i find the aldi's round here very rude and i actually complained once for similar reasons u described today!! i was fuming, it was when jake was little and in his buggy, maybe if they did baskets it wouldnt be so difficult for people with prams!! i wrote a letter off to head office got a reply from a bloke saying how concerned he was and could i ring him to discuss further..but i chickened out so it didnt go any further!
