Charlotte keeps waking and crying in the night and I don't know why.
She's got a day bed and I tuck the duvet down the back so it doesn't move or fall off. I was feeling her hands and feet last night and she doesn't feel cold when I get into bed with her. She says she hasn't got a pain and just wants Mammy in for a cuddle. When I get in, she's very restless and doesn't lay still - she's just rolling about all over the place. She hasn't got any symptoms of being ill and nothing has changed in her room or outside.
It's got me puzzled as to why she keeps waking upHere I go again on my own....0 -
Quickie update before bed:
Drainage tube is in and the stuff coming out is infected and disgusting. Antibiotics have been strengthened accordingly.
I am feeling irrationally angry at pancreases. They're only appendixes with notions and hormones.

Good grief pregnancy is turning me into a pancreas!Oooo choccies, *stops lurking* mine's an orange creme, hi Lynda.X
Ooooh tara, let's be choccie friends, I hate the fruit centresMorning.....Bruno its a pickle isn't it - I've decided that my LO is waking early because he gets cold so am double quilting him with a second quilt around his waist so that he doesn't get too hot. He moves around alot in his sleep and so often loses his covers but like your lo once he is awake as far as he is concerned it may be dark outside but it is morning and booby time.
Tss do you tuck it all the way under his mattress so it's right underneath him? Looking for blanket tips here....;):D

Weezl - no he is in a "big" bed now so that is partly the problem as he likes to have his cute cot quilt on at night and pulls it over himself as he goes to bed.
That soumds like a good idea though - if I turn the single quilt round and tuck in maybe it will stay in place. I only worry that he will overheat if he can't kick the covers off ...see my dilemma :rotfl:.
Wish we could go back to sleeping bags but he hates them now and obviously as he walks around in the morning they are not too practical either.MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0 -
Morning all,
I hope everyone is fine and dandy. I will read back a bit in a moment, I promise but please can anyone give me some advice?
Caitlin has woken up the past three nights a lot (we've had to go into her room at least 15 times last night and two nights before that, and about 10 times the night before last), so OH and I are pretty tired at the moment.
At one point on all three nights she has got pretty hysterical and I've ended up feeding her and she hasn't been fed in the night for several weeks now.
Her room doesn't feel particularly warm or cold, it feels about right, so I don't think it's the temperature. Her hands are always cold but that's because she sucks on them in the night (she's got turnover cuffs and they get soggy).
As a result of this, she finally settles properly around 5am but we're only getting an hour and a half of sleep before DH has to get up for work.
I wanted to leave weaning her as long as possible (she's 19 weeks) but I'm wondering if she's hungry? She's still on 6oz bottles as she doesn't always finish them all (and when she does finish them, she quite often sicks some back up).
She has a 6oz bottle at around 10am (tends to leave about 0.5oz), 1pm (tends to finish the bottle), 4pm (tends to leave 2 ozs) and 7pm (anything from draining the bottle to leaving 3oz). I BF her in the morning and if she needs a feed in the night. We've tried dream feeding her and she either takes nothing or ends up waking up completely.
Does anyone have any advice?

Hey, it was so scray! As soon as the doctor said how long has she had a rash for, I went into shock/supermum mode.My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Hi Lynda!
Meningitis!!! God you must have been scared! Well done you for recognising the symptoms and acting fast.
Other than the hospitalisation and the jabs how are things going? Are you BF or FF? How is Sophia (lovely name) sleeping, feeding and pooping. Have you managed to get yourself out and about and is daddy doing his fair share?
MFD xxx
Things are going great we had an appt with the health visitor who weighed her and she's 10lb40z now and we no longer see the HV anymore. I BF for a month then mixed fed for 1 week, but now she's on FF as I had supply issues. She's now only waking up at 4am then 8am when daddy gets up for work and during the day she on off sleeps when she wants. The poop is taking a greenish look as she's a greedy bum and loves 6-8 oz at a time LOL
We get out alot she loves the fresh air and daddy is fantastic he's up with her when she wakes at night and I get to stay in bed and go back to sleep. He has 3 days off a week and so do I if I want too, gives me time to have a nice bubbly bath, and xmas shop with out beating people with the pram!GC July: £0/£1200 -
Hope your scan goes well today Weezl x0

Aww shucks! And mega hugs for you, Molly and your poorly DH. I wish there was something we could do...
Due date is 30/03/10, but I've been warned that prematurity is 4 times more likely with this age gap.
LOL at pinksplosion! I love your way with words
