Just found my nearest on the web but there wasn't much info about it so I sent them an email and got a reply telling me just to drop in and they will be able to give me more info so that looks promising. Will go tomorrow as it will give me and the MIL something to do - running out of easy things to do while she is here but can't just sit in my flat all day - only 3 more days to go until I can wonder around the flat in a semi-clothed state :j

Start at your local one - sounds good! I am a childrens centre tart and did a bit of wandering around all the local ones before I settled on some permanent groups. I had baby massage at one, baby bop at another and I am currently doing swimming lessons with one that I only ever visited twice ;) Make the most of what is available. You will find the people differ greatly from centre to centre too.

Maybe if you do some early nakedness then MIL will leave sooner than planned ;):D

You clearly get on with her to allow her to stay in the first place though, which is a bonus.

I tentatively take that as a compliment  dunno what I have done.

I am now always working Mondays (I was trying to fit my working days around swimming lessons and booby clubs :D) Monday is a slack day for us ;)
We were all being rather useless in terms of practicality for feelie then you post a very helpful list and a dash of good advice to boot :D

I was just wondering if we'd be seeing you at another sling meet you see, maybe if Fritha does another Friday one?

battery is about to die so I shall retire now, night all xx

ps. Jenny not sure if it's the same everywhere but you get a goodie bag when you sign up to surestart here :)

feelie *hugs*hope your ok, pack minimum and a few days away may do you some good! at least you will have your mum to help out and chat to. i dont think that a job will help you in the situation your in. if it was something that you wanted to do then i would say go for it though!

i cannot sleep have been up and down the stairs, my brain is on overload and i cant seem to stop it? i broke a tooth and my gum is swelling so am worried as i am terrified of the dentist, honestly put me in labour for a week rather than let them do anything to me lol! painkillers taken so think ill head back up!
