  • Morning all :)

I am relaxing as much as possible this morning, as I have to take both kids for both flu jabs at 3pm and I have a feeling I may be in for a long night !!

Good luck for your scan today weezl xx I'm all excited to find out :)
    ((hugs)) to your OH SS

no advice for non sleeping babies, however for those that dont use sleeping bags anymore, what about the fleece all in ones ?? they are a lot warmer than PJs and may help if it is cold.
Bruno, you need to buy 'solve your childs sleep problems' by Dr Richard Ferber.
Jasmine used to go to sleep at 11.30pm or midnight every night, and with that book she now goes to sleep at about 9.30 which has made such a difference !! There are solutions for loads of different sleep patterns, so one of them may be able to help :) Good Luck xx

    Morning All :hello:

Brain-wracking time. When Andrew sleeps upstairs in our bedroom (same moses basket as downstairs), he becomes very snuffly. Temperature throughout the house is the same, he's not in a draught. Any ideas as to why? Should I perhaps check humidity levels?

  • SS - you're coping so well with Molly & OH, I don't think I would be as calm sounding as you and its a shame we can't help. Thinking of you and if you need a chat we're here.:o

Feeley: your OH -what a t*@t !

Hi to Lynda and Sophia :p (such a cute name)

Sami: Thank you fairy post arrived yesterday (quicker than Amazon prime via Royal Mail !!!!!!!)

Does Amazon charge you to return items? I've somehow managed to get two orders from them one is correct but the other order is just a duplicate of one of the books I ordered! It only arrived yesterday so thought would be fine under distance selling reg but do I have to pay postage or is there a hadling fee type thing from amazon? I tried to look on their site but just got confused . The duplicate book arrived but all the rest hasn't yet - typical!

Good luck with your scan Weezl

Loads more I was gonna say but can't remember!

    Morning all,

Dont know if anyone else has this problem but .....looking for a bit of advice. LO is really bad when anyone goes to leave. If I go to leave him at nursery or my mums he goes into hysterics. He does it if OH goes out just to the car or up to the loo!!! any advice of getting round this. I try to explain that we are just popping out for a little while and will be back. Sometimes I cant even get him to go upstairs and get a nappy change as he doesnt want to leave OH.

When he's at nursery they say after about 10 minutes he is ok and then sometimes I cant get him to come away from nursery.
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

Thank you so much for the list, have printed it out. MFD, you know me too well in that you mentioned not to pack food. What about all the nice things I'm leaving behind? Surely I can find space in my Stokke bag for a trifle!

Thanks for all the kind words and advice, appreciate it. Got a terrible case of brain-goo!

Trains aren't easy, they all want me to go on the Tube. Think I can get one from Here to Basingstoke, then to Birmingham, then to Crewe, then to home. Train leaves at 13:19, so OH would give me lift to station which means not taking carseat which is easier (Mum has her own). Then I can take buggy, which makes it easy than having a suitcase and a baby who really likes wriggling.

Going to pack 'just in case' and see what OH says.

Is today the day Weezl finds out?! She said 3.30 didn't she? Please tell me Birmingham New Street has WiFi otherwise I'm going to have to get someones number to find out!

Feelie, where is Mums? Are any of us near there?

SS Hope OH is doing ok, must be scary, keep not thinking about it!

OH's mum has managed to P me off this morning without even seeing her!

We got an email confirming that she has ordered 4 Harrods bears which means 1 each for my girls, She buys Millie one every year, they are really big, she doesn't play with them and they take up loads of room

(the other 2 are for SIL and her son, SIL has a whole room in her house for the harrods bears, not cos she likes them but because they take up so much room, she's 40 this year)

The first thing I said to OH when we found out Ello was a girl was that he had to speak to his mum I am not finding houseroom for 2 collections of harrods bears! I am not having the house overrun with the blasted things ararararggghhghgha!!!!

This is just the tip of the iceberg as far as her Peeing me off over Xmas is concerned and I generally prefer not to think about it until the xmas week cos she winds me up so much, and now I'm thinking about it a month early.

  • Choppy, a growth spurt and night waking after previously sleeping through is quite common at 4monthsish... and should settle down within a week or 2. I personally would just offer a milk feed in the night and ride it out, but it's up to you if you decide to wean or not...

We're at 24 weeks with nothing but milk so far :D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Claire, on the few occasions I've had to return things to Amazon, they've sent a courier to collect it. Or not, as in the case of a work colleague's book - it sat in our reception for about a year, uncollected!
