    morning all!!

nms- the fairy parcel arrived this morning. thanks!!

well, Kian stayed awake ages yesterday. finally went asleep at 945pm then didnt wake till 4am. fed him for bout 15mins and he fell back asleep till 8.30am. i only woke then cos my alarm went for taking my tablets. he was lay in his basket sucking on his fist. this seems to be his new thing, like he's just discovered it. lol!! puts his fist to his mouth and he calms himself down. he gets upset then when he moves his hand away- like he cant figure out where its gone.

    how is everyone today??

am trying to decide what to get DH for xmas and i think i;ve decided on the Beatles ROck Band with George Harrison Guitar. best price i've seen so far is £64.99 and £14.99. but i have saved with park hampers for this xmas so getting love2shop vouchers, which i;ll use. need to look now and see what Kian can buy him. want some 'daddy' thing. any ideas??

why is it when you think things are going great everything turns?? OH has moaned about us having no money but refuses to eat his tea as he would rather have a take away? he uses money out the bank without telling me leaving us overdrawn and another bank charge, his mob phone bill has doubled and i dont know any of this until i check our accounts. we have had another HUGE argument and i have told him its over. cant keep living like this and even the kids are unhappy with him, strange thing is i dont feel any emotions. im sat here like nothing has happend sorted the kids out done the washing and dishwasher. he is away out and has asked to stay for tonight, i need him to watch the kids tom and now i going to have to ask for reasonable regular hours or quit. bang goes the promotion i have worked so hard for and my marriage all in the space of a few hours.
    ((((((((hugs caz))))))))
Sounds to me like you knew it was over already hun, you will be fine, speak to yuor work and see what they say, you might not get promotion but you might be able to reduce your hours???

Thats a good idea sami. I have Xmas tree decorations, I'll go buy some crappo tinsel and stuff too, me and OHs mum could make salt dough decorations :p

She actually just called, but I didnt mention as feel it would be better face to face, she's in halfords looking at booster seats for Keira as she is looking mighty squashed in the car seat. Also asked her if she was free at weekend and we'd all go up and stay over, I think she misses us TBH, she's used to being busy and looking after people, but OH and his sister have left, and at one point she had me OH and Keira living there, and OH's dad is away in Houston right now with work, she says she likes the peace but I'm not sure she does tbh! They live in a very isolated house, with a creepy castle in their garden. Used to give me the jeebies going outside at night to find the cat!

So about car seats, we are going to get a booster,as Keira is over 3 now, but whats the best type? She said there was one reduced from £99 to £50 in Halfords and it had the back too it, I would prefer one like that as oposed too just a plastic seat type thing.

£50 seems a lot though or maybe I'm just cheap?
TBH I dont think boosters are good enough for 3 year olds, Aston has one like this one, infact I think it is the same, i lent it to a neighbour who took it apart cos they couldnt adgust the straps to fit their fat child, and when they gave it back, I used the booster for Aston and the seatbelt cut into his neck, it just dont look safe to me, plust this one is only £35 http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3754494.htm

p.s: did the fairies manage to get to the PO? just wondering cos i've been waiting for an important letter for 2 weeks, me thinks it's gone missing :(

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Not the best start to my working week... in the office for 3 hours then got a text from OH saying half the power had stopped working, including fridge. Cue phone conversation like this

ok, are you looking at the fuse box?
    yes
can you see the long line of switches, two are different and the others are all the same?
    yes
are any of them pointing the other way to the rest?
    no
Can you just take a minute and run your eye along left to right, be sure they're all pointing the same way?
    yes
ok... can you read the labels? Find one which is one of the bits not working now. <finds kitchen outlets circuit>
OK, flip that switch and go check out the kitchen outlets again.
<delay while potential things to stand on are investigated>
I am jumping for the switch now!
No, don't jump - get something to stand on -
I jumped and flipped it and nothing happened. It still doesn't work.
<delay while screaming baby locked away>
OK - maybe I should come home and take a look
No, don't come home, I'll flip them ALL <jumps up and down to flip all the switches....>
PLEASE DON'T DO THAT especially not jumping stop and wait and I'll come home!
    All flipped! Nothing works now!!!!!

    ...

I am now at home again (one of the switches was flipped).

Was hoping book would have come today - ended up co-sleeping last night cos he wouldn't settle in his cot so I got no sleep!

Jack has started dribbling more as well, just soaked OH's top :rotfl:

need to make bottles, go to PO, get gripe water from ASDA and then get cooking cos I didn't do it yesterday!
