Funny that Becles, OH's first memory is being in a car crash, in scotland not long after they moved here from Egypt and the car then just had rope for seatbelts....:rotfl:

oooh before i forget, in poundland they are selling a 3 pack of tommee tippee food pots with lids, freezer and microwave safe :money: the asda plain food storage ones are 35p per pot, so these work out a little cheaper!

weezl, may i ask what is on fergie's menu these days? :) seth likes your recipes, nothing goes down as well as weezl's baby mac and cheese!

Hi all, just wanted to say BIG thanks for all your kind comments yesterday. I took all on board and am feeling loads better about it today. Caught up on sleep whilst DH looked after Tegan, waking me up just to feed her. Practised lying down to feed and feel that we are getting a lot better at it. Last night was an improvement too as she did go to sleep in between feeds (thank goodness!) plus lying down she doesn't seem to wave her hands around so much.

spoke to the MW about it today and she says that Tegan's weight says she is getting plenty of milk and said my technique was looking fine but Tegan seems to be sucking her bottom lip as well so need to try and get her to put it on my breast (this might take some work!). Plus there is a support group on Wednesday so I'll pop along to that.

Thanks again. Back to catching up on sleep as my daughter is a night owl :) x

yep I reckon salt dough decorations would be very child friendly, they just mustn't eat the dough! Only cos it's so salty they'd be sick!

have you got any cookie cutters?

bump munchkin is well and sends you a little kick :D

    xxx

awwww i like mini kicks :D ... whats the recipe to salt dough again did you just add food colour to make them red??

Em - the free jar is nationwide at asda :D (I think its sponsored by cow n gate
There's another place that does it too but I can't for the life of me think who it is!

SM - the pram is there a way you could pull both hoods so they're together and then put a bin bag over the seam bit? (obviously making sure there's enough air in there for him) Weirdly I had a random thought last night, wandering if you'd sorted the rain cover problem
Making Christmas decs with zoe you can do salt dough like Weezl said and then theres loads of paper things like cutting out snowflakes, making paper chains, cone angels, loo roll santas, wool pompoms for the tree, pompom snowman. basically anything you made at school, you could maybe get her to sew her own stocking.

awwww tis nice that you thought of my little man :D .. i was thinking she culld make her own stocking not to small of course any ideas where i could get the stuff from?? ..

went down town and priced everything up that i need to get only problem i had is i couldnt find any boxes or baskets for the hampers .. oooo and 99p store and £1 store are selling silicone cake shapes butterfly, teddy bear and cupcake cases gonna get some for my chocolate slabs :D x
    :)Still searching .....:)

Fabulous Karen :) The first few weeks are the hardest in all respects, in a few weeks you'll be wondering what you were stressing about ;)
I find gently using my thumb to pull Ed's chin helps when his bottom lip isn't right xx
