Is Dylan any good at holding still? I know Rhys isn't! He's never still when he's awake. We have more filming by the physios tomorrow.. got to clear some floor space! :o

OH must be in a good mood cos he's had a nice weekend off :) He won't be by the end of this week - his colleague is off work so he's got to go in an hour earlier every day, means leaving the house at 6am :(
  • aww your poor OH :(

OK, I never really buy myself anything, but have made quite a bit of money on ebay recently that paid for most of Jasmines room and a couple of christmas pressies, but had £40 left, so I have just bought myself a pair of boots !! I feel really good about spending money on me ... is that sad ???

I'm in the chocolate tasting club: https://www.chocs.co.uk and that is my indulgence :D I rarely spend anything else on myself, but on the rare occasions I do, I really enjoy it. I'd love to able to walk into Debenhams or somewhere and buy some new clothes rather than making do with the few items I have.

Off work this week as my parents are on holiday and there is nobody else who can mind Charlotte. I'm looking forward to spending more time with her. Taking her to Newcastle this morning to see Fenwicks windows. It's a traditional nativity this year, so it'll be good for teaching her the Christmas story.

Doing an experiment too. She'll not be getting any sweets, biscuits, cake etc., for lunch so it will be interesting to see how she manages. Mam fills her full of sugar and additives at lunch time, and it's a battle to get her down for an afternoon nap, then she sleeps late and I have to wake her up for her tea and she's grumpy and horrid. I've only given her a sandwich and a yoghurt for lunch yesterday and Saturday and she went down for a nap easily and woke up well before tea in a good mood.
Here I go again on my own....

hello ladies! hope your all fine! i have been working non stop to get some money together and my manager is leaving and i will be taking her job at christmas :D:D:D
erin was moaning earlier so i told her to clap her hands and she started clapping lol!!! i was so shocked and she looked at me like it was nothing? she is driving me crazy though as i cannot get her to eat? she will only eat yoghurt ans spits everything else out. its costing a fortune and she is going through so much milk as she is hungry?? any ideas? xx

Archie has been nightmare at eating since he had a sickness bug last year and very stubborn :0) the only thing that works with him is plonking the food in front of him and then TOTALLY ignoring him while he either eats/ chucks the food in front of him . lol not suggesting you do this though as erin is younger perhaps you could puree fruit to go in her yogs. just to make them a bit healthier and buy bigger pots of yoghurt to make it a bit cheaper.

I am actually considering making flapjaks with various bits of veg in as this is our bugbear - he will only eat veg in baby food and then only the hipp organics  But will eat breakfast bars lol.

can you hide things in yoghurt?
save pennies by buying a big tub of plain and mixing small amounts with purree

I'm just waiting for my turn in the bath :D OH is just drying Chris after they've been in and once he's off to bed Edgar and I are hopping in

I used to buy fromage frais but started to become concerned about the amount of sugar archie was eating so bought greek style youghurt and mixed 50/50. He loved it and now will eat greek yoghurt without anything else in also.

thanks ladies!!! only my OH knows as it has to be kept quiet as it may put a few people out? they have been there longer but as i have been trained on everything and have been working my butt off she and the main boss think i would be perfect :D so i have the contracts etc to fill out next week!
OH is still not working and as my hours are so long im not sure if its worth while now? the tax credits are good and the council have sent us a letter saying they will pay just about our full rent!(we are still skint though pmsl!)

thanks weezl i may have to get the recipe from you! she has got so fussy and just refuses point blank, i have tried everything. i had cauliflower and cheese and she spat it out the min it touched her lips? do you think she is associating being sick with food?

Congrats on the upcoming promotion caz - am missing the cut and thrust too but don't know how you cope - esp with 5 children - you must be super organised!!

    Morning SM :)

All going ok so far today - Husband has an emergency appointment this morning which is going to determine if my mother stays or flies home tonight. 6 of the 17 things on my to do list are done, and I'm just waiting for Molly to poop so I can take this nappy and the others and wash them.

Mum's still asleep after Molly misbehaved most of the night, but she's in a lovely mood.
