We had a lovely dinner out last night...even if I did make Krystal hike the length and breadth of Wolverhampton beforehand :o Babies and little girls behaved very impeccably and mummies managed lots of lovely chat :D

3 - hope Liv did you proud today! And that you managed to get a photo of the right purple octopus ;):D

Krystal - Aimee is just cute as a button, I can't believe she ever plays you up!!

It took me an hour and a half to settle Benjamin (including a stint downstairs whilst we had dinner) which very rarely happens. I don't know if we have messed him up with a lack of sleep and later night last night (he didn't go down until 9.30pm) or if he could sense that I needed him to go off so I could finish preparing for tomorrow but he was proper crying :( poor lamb.
I didn't mind the trek too much... Kind of reminded me how little moving I've done since I was pregnant with Caitlyn... I frequently walked into town with Aimee in the pram, I barely go further than the school now... I should really do something about that!

And thank you... I think it just shows how well I have her trained that she can behave herself in public... And do nothing but play me up in private!

Poor Benjamin, hope he has a settled night for you!

Yup - it is! But it does get easier and you can do it with the support of all the lovely peeps on here! Also, find a local Breastfeeding Support Group (also known as Booby Club) and get along there to share some real life grumbling and tears ;):D

Shout if you have any questions - Krystal is our Booby Goddess :A

SM, how badly ripped is it? Do you have a waterproof cosy toes? Do you have anything you can use like a thick blanket? Umberbrolly? Sheet made into a sling?

SM, I would just put him in his biggest coat and move as fast as you can... Assuming the pram has a hood, is it adjustable so you can pull it further forward? Eg, my big pram, the hood is joined to the back of the seat so when it's laying flat the hood is just normal but when the seat is up, the hood could be pulled right down over the baby...

advice please??? LO has decided she does not like being strapped in to her car seat or pushchair for that matter.

any ideas of how to try and get her to snap out of it. i try distracting her when i am getting her in, but she makes herself all straight and stiff and then just cries.

If it's a travel system, don't the hood of the car seat and the hood of the buggy meet in the middle? Mine does...

Ah, I'm knakered... For some reason I decided to have a de-crap in Aimee's room... 3 bin bags later it's looking slightly emptier... Still got the big shelf unit to go through... It's all going on freecycle... Apart from her noddy cars... They're going on eBay... Still have all the figures with them so I might get a fiver...

Sorry hun, no idea... I don't think I had that kind of problem with Aimee until she was much bigger and wanted to walk... But she spent a lot of time parent facing in the pram so she was always happy enough... Have you tried a sling?
