  • Hi everyone, well I have been busy today after saying this morning that I wasnt going to do much. I went into town to get swimming stuff for Dylan for hydrotherapy starting on Tuesday, then did a little food shop, did the Tesco glitch online and got 3 toys for Dylan for christmas £49 down to £24 :j Then Jasmine told me I wasnt playing with her today, cuz I was too busy doing things for Dylan, so guilt set in and I played board games for 3 1/2 hours straight, bar toilet breaks !!!

I am now exhausted, but both kids are sleeping and me and Chris had cuddles for a little bit and I am now on the sofa with feet up and a glass of west coast cooler .... perfect :D

That's true AM the TC people will only help with childcare if both parents work (or the one if a single parent)
I think MM said she can't get he childcare bit even though her OH is on incapacity bens (which isn't fair IMO)

I know, I think its pants, but they count him as available for childcare as he is at home, although they do not ask what the incapacity is, so they dont know if he is fit for childcare  Anywho, they are at least now giving me something, just not as much as I think we deserve :o

arghhh well last night didn't go to plan. I didn't get to catch up as LO decided to wake up after 30mins in bed and didn't really make it back to her cot at all. I fled to the spare room in tears after about 5 hours of rocking, patting, calpol, milk, cuddles and more rocking, letting DH take over. She's teething. AGAIN. We have 6 teeth and I see another veyr close to breaking through, but babies end up with 20 milk teeth don't they? Not sure I can stick it through the rest of them :rotfl: I haven't had much sleep this week :(

Anyway - DH not working next week tso that's good.

Sami/MFD - not pregnant either! Gossip was more general chit chat and I've forgotten most of it!

will try and catch up now but as LO been asleep for a couple of hours I am planning to head to bedsoon to make the most of it..........

*missing you all but no idea where the time goes*

  • I know !!!
In all fairness to her, I was doing a lot of ''Dylan '' stuff today as I am not going to get much of a chance tomorrow as my SIL and nephew are coming over for lunch, then I am babysitting while SIL takes Chris out for a driving lesson, and we are in Belfast on Monday for Dylans xrays so needed to get everything done today :)

Next week for me is mental though, so she will hate me even more probably
    Monday - Belfast for xrays
Tuesday - 1st hydrotherapy and my dentist
Wednesday - both kids getting swine flu jabs and seasonal flu jabs
Thursday - Jas parent teacher meeting
    Friday - day off !!
    Sat - gymnastics
Sunday - MILs all day for a family thing

I'm tired just thinking about it !!!

Thanks for replies on rice/pasta...good idea about breaking it while brittle, might try putting it sandwich bag and bashing it?? If that doesn't work I will just chop it once cooked, if he can't eat it full sized.

i tried bashing it in a sandwich bag but it didnt work :( easiest is spagetti cos its easy to break up by hand, or if you cook it twice as long as you normally would its easier to mash up, as auntie weezl told me :T
i find it harder now to make seths food, cos i want to blend it enough that he can eat it but not so much that its pureed IYSWIM! last batch i made has BNS, rice, potatoes, carrots and chicken in, and i had to mash the veg, blend the chicken and overcook but not blend or mash the rice! hassle!
