yeah! Maybe too busyI think I so look forward to DH being home on weekends that I cram in too much IYSWIM?
Most of this is because I don't drive(must take a leaf out of searchie's book and try again) and so there's some things I'm dependant on him for...
I made chilli and various fruit compotes for fergie to have with yoghurt.
Whatcha gonna make?
Is BIL being a good house guest and helping you out with Jack?

Cos I can cuddle him at other times and don't get that painful feeling, they must be very clever or psychic.jillie1974 wrote: »afternoon all,
starnge few days. DH has been signed off work for 2 weeks with anxiety and depression. all to do with his sister and not dealing with her death. He had a really bad panic attack the other night (scared me silly) and has had another 1 just as he got into his car to come home from work and a slight one on Fri am. so i made him go to the DR. He's also prescribed him some anti-depressants (not too pleased bout that cos i think counselling should have been tried first). he's got to go back to GP in 2 weeks.
Kian doing well . Think he is training himself overnight as for past 3 nights, he's had bottle at 11-12 then slept till 4 or 5 when he's had bout 3oz of milk and fallen asleep. (he's been half asleep feeding as well) then sleeping till bout 7.30/8.30. Hopefully wont be too long till he sleeps through- at which point i prob wont as i;ll be scared that he's not woken up! lol!!
Oh poor hubby! Do make sure he pushes for the referral after if he's not 100%
a family friend of ours lost his dad very close to his daughters birth and never dealt with it until he ended up having a breakdown a year later
Glam - IME its best to put them down either awake and sleepy or fast asleep, the bit inbetween always ends in having to start again :rolleyes:0 -
yup, boobs are magic
course it's also to do with hormones and body chemistry, but the psychic boobies just cant be explained!
Jillie, hope your OH manages to find some peace soon, sounds rough fir you all.
Glam, *sleppy baby from 9pm-7am vibes* for Jack0 -
Boobs are magic! Mine often tingle when Ed is asleep and what do you know about 30secs later he wakes to be fed - MAGIC!
Mine too!
I'm still trying to find a good Christmas present for my two nephews. I asked their father but he hasn't responded - I have two $1 million bills from Zimbabwe for them and possibly a pair of stunt kites but I've no idea what else, unless I raid the Bayern Munich shop and buy them that sort of crap. Gah.
Our bedroom now needs only a quick tidy around the TV shelf and that room is officially DONE. I'm heading off in a second to change the second load of laundry to the dryer and then finish organising Molly's stuff and a quick tidy round in the living room and then that room too is DONE.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hi girls and boys,
Just got my first chance to have a sit down. Glad the week is over but feeling really positive about work and childminders and everything in between!
Is Andrew home?
Any news on MFD's tender. Glad to hear Benjamin had fun at the childminders.
AM sorry to hear about your shoulder pain.
I understand Elle is a puree obsessive
What else? Brain has reverted to mummy mode i.e mush.
How are you all in general? I've missed you all lots and lots.

Back with a new hairdo! Waiting on SIL and her hubby to arrive as they want to visit Holly and we are going to have a Chinese with them. But they are lost! Hope they don’t take too long to get here as Holly will be due a feed soon and no doubt in the middle of the Chinese! And I am going to my friend’s for a drink at 7.30pm so not got much time.
Bruno – fingers crossed Elijah sleeps later tomorrow. I have no experience of this yet so can only guess that as others have said, maybe feed him a bit later.
Glam – I haven’t tried dream feeding, but then I haven’t had the need to. Maybe Jack is still a bit young for it. Holly slept from 1am when we all went to bed, through to 8.30am today. But whilst I am telling you how brilliant she is during the night, she is up with us all evening so therefore we don’t get much time to ourselves as a couple. However, for the moment, we are happy doing it this way as we are letting her decide and think she is too young to have an enforced routine. And I would rather have a good night’s sleep than have time on our own in the evening. Also, when she is half asleep, she does wake up shortly after being put down. Although using a soother seems to be helping with that. Hope you get a good sleep tonight.
Jillie – Glad things are going well with Kian. Sorry to hear about your SIL and your hubby. I must have missed you saying about her, but noticed the other day that you made reference to your niece or nephew whose mother had passed away. I hope your DH gets whatever support he needs.
Pookie – I am still leaking milk and Holly is 7 weeks old today. It has never really been sore though, and my breasts haven’t been rock hard since about the second week. People (mum/aunt etc) keep asking me about getting pills from the doctors to “scatter” my milk, so I take it that it was something they did in the 70s.0
