He had opened the baby monitor box and got all the bits out while I changed Edgar and was trying to plug on of the wires into OH's psp
so he's been told off and I told him he can't stay over at grandma's tonight. He's since declared that he doesn't like his daddy right now, he doesn't love Edgar any more and He doesn't love me.
Then he was sat talking to himself saying he can't stay at grandmas and he has to tell her he's a naughty boy :rotfl:

MFD - After reading this I am swaying towards a CM even though I can use the creche at work & it might be cheaper. Thanks for sharing your thoughts :A

All parents are different and many of my things rely on getting the right childminder.
Let someone else outline the benefits of a nursery, and the problems with childminders before you let me sway you!!!

hello all - been a busy few days here. House is looking cleaner though. Dinner all done and dusted, LO fed and ours is ready for when Hubby gets in. I'm feeling all organised tonight. LO still bothered at night with her teeth and so I've got large dark circles today....anyway. Bathtime is going to be 6pm tonight as the poor wee thing is almost ready to drop. Any earlier though and I'd be up even earlier than normal!!!

cherrios etc - I think sugar is an issue, but the big one is the hidden salt, which is why cereals are not recommended for babies under 1yr.

Will try and read back later once LO in bed :D I feel I'm missing out on the gossip and then can fill you in on mine :D

Hey MacSmiler! I have been thinking about you!
    Are you pregnant??

See what I have started! Holly was 59cm at birth at 61cm today. Ok, I think I have converted her weight so is there room for another on the MSE chart? If not, don't worry as it is a bit congested!

    3.82 wk 0
    4.03 wk 2
    4.25 wk 3
    4.59 wk 4
    4.90 wk 5
    5.10 wk 6

Kieren was weighed yesterday at exactly 4wks and was 10lb13 in real money which is very similar to what Holly weighed then. Both doing well!
  • evening :)

Dylan is an extra clean boy today, he got bathed this afternoon, then threw up all over himself 2 mins after I dressed him, stripped him and he did it again, so had a 2nd quick bath, then just finished another one due to explosive poo !!!!!!!!!!!

How are we all ??? Everyone have a nice day I hope :)

Glam - CMs do have downsides (although still my preferred choice)
if they're ill you have to find alternative
they usually take a holiday in school hols

    Its different for girls :)

    I knew that :o

Can I tell you my horror story from today please?

Molly had her second round of injections yesterday and slept wonderfully well all night after them.

[Note: we figured out the problem with her weight - there's not one. The idiot nurse practitioner didn't subtract the 150g of her soaked nappy (horror child went right as we were heading to the dr!!), plus her full tummy, so she looked to be almost 1/2lb heavier than she is.]

Anyway, she was a bit out of sorts this morning so I fed her, lifted her to put her in the baby bjorn so I could do all sorts of stuff with my hands and still have her close by all day ... and she threw up. Downwards, from a position slightly over my head. It was on my face, in my hair, on my lips, down my shirt, in my cleavage. And I was stuck with her half in the BB, half out, screaming, covered in sick, by myself while Husband slept and Mum was in the bathroom.

:rotfl: Not pleasant but I've recovered now because...

... we now know what's wrong with Husband - and it's fixable with speedy outpatient surgery! He'll still be unable to look after Mistress Molly for a few weeks afterwards but it's not cancer and everything is wonderful - puke in the cleavage or not :j:j:j:j
