  • LO was supposedly 39cm at birth! He was about 49cm at 8 weeks. Will measure him again when awake. Head was 35cm at birth.

I think that is why they stopped measuring them at birth Feely - the measurements were so inaccurate because bubba is still all screwed up that it wasn't worth the paper it was written on.

I asked them to measure Benjamin when he was born though and he was 50cm, which is around the 50th....but then when he was measured at 5 weeks and he was 58cm it looked like he had grown massively...more likely he was measured a bit short at birth.

Benjamin has been measured more than most, because we get measured when we go to see the consultant in addition to the normal measurements.

    24wks - off the scale :o

    Grand :D Ta!

He's off the scales for weight... under 0.4

It just occurred to me all the weights on that graph are actual age but in his red book they're all corrected age

    Claire,

havent forgotton you...did your parents get the buggy board off your brother the other week?

I didn't hear from you so I kept it here in case you'd changed your mind. I have listed it on ebay and someone bought it 3 days ago but haven't paid yet and are ignoring my emails! If they don't cough up are you still interested? My parents are coming to visit on 2nd Dec so can send it with them if you do want it and its not too close to bumps due date!

See what I have started! Holly was 59cm at birth at 61cm today. Ok, I think I have converted her weight so is there room for another on the MSE chart? If not, don't worry as it is a bit congested!

Thanks Feelie! What a great job you have done with that! And thank goodness Holly no longer seems like a big girl - she is just normal. :D

I think Keira is just under the 50th centile for height, think she's about 92CM? So roughly same height as Chris Sami :) Why isn't she growing? LOL

MFD - What's wrong with Cheerios? I'm sure they have some vitamins in them....iron? Keira scoffs them a lot, but her fave is weetabix! Can't believe she likes weetabix (obv no sugar) but won't eat any sort of junk food, milkshake, pizza, crisps, burgers etc Not that I'm complaining of course, but she is an odd one!

Fitz I ment to say before of course she is normal the centile charts show AVERAGE weights/lengths etc. of 'normal' babies ;) so as long as she's on there somewhere she's normal

do you understand how they work? it's very simple once you know but not obvious unless you know your GSCE stats lingo :)
