I am slowly coming to terms with the fact that I am back at work in 6 weeks and I could honestly cry that my mat leave is nearly over :( I didnt mind going back to work after Jas but I think that was more the PND and needing to get away from her ( I know that sounds awful) and then I was used to just being at work, and now after being able to spend so much time with both of them, I really really don't want to go back !!

Also there is a load of stuff going on with work that is really playing on my mind and its making me not want to go back even more

    *hugs* :(

Are you doing KIT days? Would going in to see them all put your mind at rest any? :o

    Night night xx

PS Where did SM disappear to too? Did I miss her saying she was going? :(

  • no elle, going in wouldnt help, because we were bought over, we are having to change a lot of things about the way we work and most of us have to go away to be retrained as we have to do different parts of the job than we are used to, and although it is great to learn new things, we are ot getting any extra money for doing quite a bit more work, and then there is the job I was passed over for and I found out the girl that got it is on a disciplinary for mis-selling but because she did a good interview she got the job over me and I am very very very unimpressed about that !!
Sorry, I shouldnt have brought it up, its a sore point at the minute !!

Too much shopping to do, no time to nap! :( Honestly, I'm not all that bad on little sleep - well, I look dreadful but I can still function fairly well, I mean! - I'm just awful at time management at the minute. The days/weeks/months just seem to be slipping by without much to show for them :(

Well, as a parent, that's what you have to show for the past few weeks and months. It's very time consuming and babies don't know time management. They never wake up or want feeding at 'the right time'. For me, my girls are what I have to show from my life. I have little else.

first of all....:eek::eek::eek: the "L" word is huge! well, to me it is anyways!!! but why do u feel bad!? is it what u meant??

yeah, I meant a hobby. I dont have much time either, but i need to make some i think. Although with 7 girls i can imagine your hands are full a lot more than mine!!
i started scrapbooking lat year, and it fell by the wayside MM! I need something that gets me outta the house - away from the dirty floor/messy kitchen/irnoing/washing and the likes. I just havent found my calling yet!!?

Although i reckon my calling right now is bed!!! Am off, and gonna try to get OH to follow suit!! Speak to u ladies (and Bruno and MOTM) in the morning!!! xxxo

The 'L' word is huge to me as well as I never loved either of the 2 mothers of my girls, merely cared for them. Lucy is just different and I meant it but.... I love having her here, she loves being here, the girls think she's the best thing since....me :rotfl: I'm just unsure as it's 10 or 11 days into the relationship, but feels like forever  She just makes me happy and makes me feel like more than just a father to my girls. She's gone to bed very happy, ready to get up tomorrow and along with 16yo get the others to school as I have a morning off, before she goes to work.

Come Friday evening she's here right through Xmas and New Year non stop. I can't take back the 'L' word now, not that I really want too  I just have never felt like this and it's scary for someone who hasn't focused on this side of my life for so long.

Do you have any sporting interests or any mothers groups in your area? Maybe you can start scrapbooking again?

I'm bed bound too. Lucy let me stay up tonight as a treat for having a great evening (do I sound owned? :rotfl: )

Take care, see you soon :T

Oh :( No chance you could delay going back or maybe even not going back? Is that feasible or is the financial side needing this work?

If it helps to talk about it MM, bring it up all you like :) *hugs* I don't know what else to say.. :o

Granted, there is chunky monkey Rhysy to show for all my time and effort :o

Someone said to me the other day "You've done really well.. you should be proud of yourself".. At first I didn't get it, but now I'm starting to feel proud of myself :D My dad's speech at my sister's wedding had something in it about him being proud of both of us but I wasn't sure what for with me (my sis is the one with the degree etc), but now at least I know I've done something to be proud of..

Oh, my potential breast feeding supporter training!! THAT's what I'm going to be starting in January too... I knew there was something! :o

Five in stock at my nearest if you want me to get it and post it?

ETA: Or there are lots in the Hull stores if your sis could get it if she's coming over to your side of the country anyway :)
