That's the one I was going for csh, thanks :)

The first two options were suggested in the argument, and at the moment I'd have no problem with either one of them. The third is the one I'd prefer, but isn't ideal in any way because their horrible dog will just be closed into another room and we'll constantly have to deal with the "well nothing happened last time...". So it leaves us going there, on eggshells, and probably escaping early. I think I'll need the time to sort through the box of books I have in their loft and rescue anything I want to keep, because after this trip I can't see us going back.

  • SS, the only thing I can say is that this is Mollys 1st christmas and you will want it to be special, so dont sit and bite your tongue, if you need to go to a hotel to have a happy family just the 3 of you, then I would do it :)

Think stork is ok SM cos I usually use marg but I'm sure Weezl will correct me if wrong.

Off now to the market for yummy smoked Ayrshire bacon, you'll never go back to supermarket stuff after trying this nomnomnom.

    Morning...

Weezl - I vote for pic 2:) (although 1 is incredibly cute, I think you can see more of him and see more of his character in pic 2)

SS - I can't advise really, but after the way they have behaved in your house, I personally wouldn't bother going at all. Who cares if they think it's all your fault and you are being childish...if that is how they view you, then do you really want to be around people like that anyway (family or otherwise)

Sami - Yes we are mad decorating at this time of year, fitting it around 3 kids, while pregnant!!! I won't be doing it again for a good while....well until my SF comes through and we carpet and decorate downstairs;) Thank you for mentioning Kai's feeding too(you are the only person who has:))

Becles - In case you feel down by what your brother said..... an Open University degree undertaken by someone who is working and raisng a family along with running a household is viewed more favourably than a degree obtained by a youngster living either at home or in halls with no other commitments/distrctions/obstacles to overcome while studying.....other than trying to stay sober long enough to get the work done:) I was actually told this very thing by a university post graduate course co-ordinator:) Next time your brther says such a thing stick two finger up at him;)

As I said in an earlier post, Christmas always seems to cause stresses ans problems within families as they feel they are obliged to see each other at this 'wonderful' time of year!!!!

ETA Ooooh post has just arrived and a letter from the orthadontist, Luca has an appt in Feb...not quite the 6mths they reckoned then!!

    Mel x

I think stork will behave pretty well in the icing searchie, it shouldn't split or curdle. I just think the taste might be a bit nicer with butter or some kind of buttery flavour spread like clover or utterly butterly. I guess it depends who it's for?

    Is it zoe's birthday cake?

    xxx
