Does it still ask if you've had sexual intercourse in an African country?

Me and OH have been on holiday to Tunisia and Egypt ;) - does that rule us out? :rotfl:

The worst thing is, they actually mean African countries where the colour of the skin is really dark - Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Cameroon etc - as opposed to the lighter Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria etc as it's apparently more common in those countries.

    They cover every base

sorry, but am i being really stupid...this question

Are you a man who has had oral or anal sex with another man (even if you used a condom)?

can i ask what the difference is if your a man or a woman who has had oral/anal sex with a man????

    *ready to feel REALLY stupid...*:o
Edit: phew, thank god im not the only one who wondered that button!!! :)
    No I am not!

Don't know the answer to your question either. I think it's the old gay sex is more dangerous argument, possibly.
That question is also really offensive considering that these days the highest instance of new HIV cases is in WOMEN aged 18 - 25 !!

  • Well, i'm off to bed. Even though Lucy has the day off tomorrow and gets to spend the day with myself and 16yo, we still have the school run for the others! Plus she wants to go to bed anyway, and her wish is my command.

Have a lovely day tomorrow folks. I hope baby decides to enter the world tomorrow Beenie and hopefully 3onitsway has her final day, money maker's Jasmine has a nice Cinderella and all the other wonderful things people are up too.

    Night folks, sweet dreams.

I'm going up to bed too. OH is home, and I have to get up for work in the morning, possibly for the last time for 4 years!

    Night all. xx

I don't doubt it. The questionnaire is a bit outdated all around.

Going back to my hosptial days, we had all kinds of literature, blood donations being one of them and if the people designing these forms were anything like the people I worked with, they are stuck in the ice age. I quit because our office was racist, sexist, ageist - all of it, so the form does not surprise me one bit. It sounds similar to what it was a few years ago, full of the old stereotypes.
