We have a washer-dryer, and it washes fine sat the mo, but doesn't dry. We don't have anywhere outside to put washing (well, can put it on the balcony, but only if I am here, as I need to keep chasing the pigeons away!), so just rely on airers inside, with a dehumidifier on when we need it. I don't use the drier at all in the summer, but in the winter it gets so damp and takes foever for things to dry. So once tumble dryer is working I will be back to tumbling every other load or so then maybe we can keep up.

Speaking of putting washing on the balcony, that would be a really good idea, while it us sunny!

Weezl/Emlou – thanks for the advice.

The Graco one I see everywhere is this one. It seems to have way more features than an occasional cot would need hence the elevated price and as Emlou says, it won’t get used much.

Price isn’t a major issue as MIL is buying it and has said to get the best one. But at the same time, I don’t want to pay for things we won’t use, and we all want to save money where we can! I will definitely consider both of your advice.

Although Emlou - my opinion of you has gone down somewhat this morning. I tell you, the music taste on these forums is atrocious!! Backstreet Boys?? And half of the Pregnancy thread are into Hanson!! I am not sure I can associate with you all for much longer.

I have been reading the advice on reflux with interest as DH's work colleague had a baby a couple of weeks before Holly and she has been suffering from reflux. She isn't putting on weight as she can't keep her milk down and they are getting no sleep at all. It sounds horrendous and you all have my sympathies. I will pass on the info about Omeprazole and Ranitidine as I think they have only been given Gaviscon so far. I had Ranitidine during pregnancy and it really helped and I know that Omeprazole has been a miracle cure in some cases too. It's good to know they are available for babies too.

Thank you for my GroBag, I loved it and last night I slept from 11.45pm to 5.45am. My Mummy & Daddy were so pleased with me :j
I was toasty warm although my hands were cold so Mummy is going to try and make me wear scratch mitts but I have too much fun pulling them off :rotfl:

Fitzio - there you go with random sleeping! tuesday, awake most of day and up every 4hrs Wednesday slept most of the day and slept all night!

Hope everyone is OK - I am off for a shower and get ready for lunch and tiny stars with RL friends.

Em they did a mixture of the old stuff and their new album. I must now dig out the albums and sing along, Daniel will be so pleased :rotfl:
I didn't enjoy the support act though, they were called Madcon they did that "beggin, beggin youoooooo" song but at least they were only on for about 20ish mins. Have fun although I'm sure you will


Fitzio - I felt like a teenager again last night however I'm sure you'll rubbish my idea of music as I love Take That, Boyzone, Westlife and suchlike! Although I do love the kings of leon and snow patrol ( I walked down the aisle to a instumental version of chasing cars)

Look at the time and I've jus got up, child free day for me so am wondering how best to spend it?

Fitzio We've got the Asda one, it was £25 in the baby event, but we got it for £12.50 after the baby event :money:. Its only been used once in almost 9 months, when she went to stay with Mum for a night - so I didn't want to pay a lot.
My friend has the Graco top-of-the-range one, and it is really nice - but she wanted to spend more as its the baby's proper bed, every night. (Toddler is in the cot bed, and they didn't have space for another cot).
