Angel, very sorry to hear
must be horribly stressful. Take heart that they really don't remember a thing at that age, and even 5 minutes after pain or distress they can be 100% fine and cheery again. It's miserable but they're very resilient little things

thanks bruno,
the heartbreaking thing is that she can be such a different little girl after a good sleep/nap, so this is really afftecting her happiness (during the day sense) i feel. no different from us adults i guess, in that we feel so much better after a d ecent sleep.
just dont know how i am going to hold out the next week or so before going back to the docs.
strange thing is the first night after i saw the doc i was so relaxed about her waking so much during the night because there was a reason for it. now i am gone past that and hate the thought of her waking up crying so many more times0 -
Hi all!
I'm going to try and keep up with this thread again i read back a few pages but bear with me if fail massively again and only post every now and then!
mm- Is the new medication Omeprazol? Good luck with it if it is, Austin wouldn't take it at all, we're back to Ranitidine and Baby Gaviscon and lots of gentle handling and sitting up after feeds!
Talking of mummies and how fab they are, mine is an absolute star, she made us dinner every night from when i was 33 weeks pregnant(and first came back from hospital after my placenta previa bleed) until austin was 8 weeks old, she's now off work and comes over most days and just helps out, cleans, tidies, looks after Austin while i sleep/shower,etc, i have no idea what i'd do without her....I love my mum!!
Mrs M, we have 2 freezers full of "bargains" i have picked up when i pass the whoopsie aisle....they're coming in handy now i'm on mat pay!
tia- i haven't had a chance to find out why we're hugging you but have some hugs anyway
Sami, that poor dog...
Mookie - well done on being so brave being away form Leila, I don't want to think about the first full day i'm away from Austin!
Angelfairy - i don't know the history but have you tried putting her on her left side to sleep as this can help reflux a bit, we sleep austin on his stomach as this is known to help with relfux but obviously there is the sids risk so i'm not recommending you do that, but it was the right thing for us as i found Austin not breathing twice while on his back in the middle of the night and it really scared me! He now sleeps like a dream and is much less sick at night, we regularly get between 7-10hours straight overnight.
Right im off to bed to dream about David Tennant covered in chocolate brownies....will be back on tomorrow...don't talk too much!!!0 -
SM..........wow. must go andd read that, but now i really must sleep.
Angel fairy, too tired to make sensible conversion. But i have exp of reflux in various degrees, so pm me if you need support.
