I know its so pap, She was really fighting at first I'm sure she could have made it if a vet got to her sooner. She looked really like my Meg too I was gutted I had no space in the car.
I knocked on a house that had a light on and they called a neighbour that has a dog and they came (it wasn't their dog tho) it was too late by then but they stayed with her until the medics came so I could go. I told Chris that they were looking after her until the ambulance came so he wasn't upset. I surprised myself at how well I coped tbh esp as she looked like meg and she started doing 'the howl' which reminded me of when my Roxy had a stroke.
Didn't have a collar and it was a bit of road with only a few houses so no idea where it was from.0 -

Hellloooooo
Just popping in before a well earned sleep.
Well, it was as bad as I thought it would be but not any worse!!
Leila was asleep when we got to CM's this morning which is not surprising as I think she picked up on tension and she woke every hour throughout the night for the first time ever! I decided not to wake her and just left quietly.
I had a very heavy heart and a knot in my stomach when I left which stayed most of the day. But I managed to get through the day and get my work done. I found that I could seperate mummy from professional career woman and although I was mummy inside I managed to be professional on the outside.
I telephoned the childminder twice, at 11am and 2pm but wont ring tomorrow.
The CM was worried that Leila only drank 50ml of milk for her first feed with her but she took the rest of her bottles fine so she must have just been wondering where she was until hunger got the better of her.
Leila's home diary says she enjoyed playing with an activity centre and watching the clown mobile and singing nursery rhymes and having a massage. The CM said Leila hasnt stopped smiling and showed me lots of photos to prove it.
Leila was happy but tired when I collected her and went to bed at 8:30pm. I feel proud that I survived and didnt leave at lunchtime to go and get her and I sense that it will all get easier for me as time goes on.
Thanks for all the support xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
hi all,
sorry, i know it's becoming a bit of a habit, but i have only read this page and not all the way back.
i am just in a bit of a state.
i know i keep going on and on about LO not sleeping and i thought i was doing okay becuase we think it MIGHT be silent reflux, but again, she just woke up (less than an hour after going down) screaming, tears and everything. i am so upset that she must be in some kind of pain all the time when she sleeps.
i didn't give her any milk as she had a bottle before she went to sleep (as i am trying to give her little and often, especially at night).
i know i am impaitent and want to see changes quickly (which i know doesn't happen) and we are not due back at the docs for a week, but i just hate the thought of her having this pain (if that is what it is).
sorry, just on my own so need to rant (too much to put in a text to hubby)

don't toddlers/kids to the funniest things.
Last night, i put jack and molly to bed, but forgot jack's water bottle and spare dum, so left him standing on his bed studying his hornby poster on his wall (its a train daddy thing). When i came back he hadn't heard me and i saw him still standing on his bed, swaying to the music, arms in the air like he was in a pop concert. Wish i had a vid cam.0 -
