MM, how's Dylan been today?
Mooki, I missed you...I miss you...
Hi Vic, I would have done exactly the same in your position
Beenie, glad you're feeling better about things... I would have had a homebirth like a shot if hubby hadn't been bought up by munchymum and given him an obsession with medical intervention...
Weezl... You poop story is comedy gold!
Feelie, nice to see you backHope you'll be hanging around...
Mfd... I love those socks... But £14?!
Sugar, sorry things are so difficult at the moment!
Becles ((hugs))
Everyone else... I forget... It was obviously too trivial to remember... (That's a joke btw...)A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

beenie, DH thinks our HB was messier than sami's maybe because I was a first-timer though, and I know you're not, but we had a few towels down and a shower curtain, but I still ruined my downstairs futon mattress cover. Maybe it varies a lot. My waters only popped right at the very end so maybe there was a bit of a flood?! Sami did your waters go slowly over a time?
HTH
Love Weezl x

Grrrr.
Went and got the picture frame from the cupboard as was going to go and order pics of Keira from snapfix or whatever to fill it, only to fix the glass frame is broken.
So, now I need a new frame!
Anyone help? Was wanting like a 9 + aperture one? Wooden frame. Cheap as possible, and quite large'ish, as it's to go on the wall over the dining table, but not massively so.
Any help?0 -

Anya was considered for what became Hannah. It's a nice name, very Russkie. Lyra i've never heard of. Is that of similar region?
MOTM - Lyra is the name of a constellation of stars. And it's the main character's name in The Golden Compass. I think Philip Pullman made it up as a name (or thought he had - but turns out there are a few hundred people with that name over the world!).
Feelie - Nice to hear from you. Hope your Surestart appointment went ok. Let us know how you got on.
Beenie - good luck with the home birth! Labour vibes coming your way next week! And girls name vibes coming your way NOW!0 -

I've thought of an idea for New Years Eve, btw.. didn't know if it would appeal to some of you too
I'm going to get some pics of Rhys printed up for rellies for Christmas and get OH to help me choose. While doing it, I'll try to remember which ones OH especially likes too and get those printed and then on NYE, spend the evening putting them all in an album together over a bottle of something nice
I know we'll keep meaning to do it but never get round to it so going to make a point of doing it at the very end of the year, iyswim0 -

I went to homebase today in an attempt to replace the broken bauble but they were all sold out  I can't believe it... The flipping thing is !!!!!!... Why would other people buy the whole of the stock up?! I have to trawl the internet tonight to find something similar now... There's 1 on eBay but it's £5.99... I'm not paying that!!
In an attempt to cheer myself up I went for a sausage and egg mcmuffin with a friend and on the way home we were discussing taking the baby to the cinema... I decided to bite the bullet and ring and ask... They said I could take Caitlyn in with me as long as it is a 12A or lower... So we went! She was very well behaved in the cinema... Chatted a little bit... Had a small moan.. Slept for an hour and spent the last 20mins sitting in the aisle looking at the pretty lights
Hubby however is very put out... We were supposed to be going on Monday together... He doesn't want to watch the film anyway, was just going with me because I wanted to go... But he's very put out I went to the cinema... It's not like I go every day... Heck some days I don't even leave the house bar the school run... I'm not apologising for itA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Can I ask a question of anyone who has the Maxi Cosi car seat please (possibly MFD as I think Sami mentioned this a short while ago)?
Sorry for the long winded explanation:
There is a wedge/cushion/insert to tip the baby back slightly for newborns which can be removed. When should this be removed? I feel Holly is a bit squashed in the car seat, so DH removed this a couple of weeks ago. However I was sitting in the back of the car with her that day, and her head lolled forward at one point, so we put it back in as I figured she needs better head control as it has her too upright when it's removed.
At Baby Sensory today, the lady taking the class asked if she could advise me on the car seat and I said "yes of course, advice welcome" and she removed the insert saying Holly was too squashed. I explained we had tried this and she said a couple of weeks might have made a difference. But when I was removing her from the car today - just yanking the car seat out of the Isofix base was enough to send her head lolling forward again! So I don't know whether it should be removed or not.
Sorry, that was a long one, but just looking for some advice on what would be best. I would also add that Holly has excellent head control and has had from quite a young age. She has been sitting in her Bumbo for a few weeks, although not unattended as she head can loll forwards a bit as her muscles are not quite strong enough.0
