Oh effing hell. I put Molly down, no trouble, and then Husband had the volume on his computer turned all the way up and she's in there hysterical right now cause it started with scary noises at full volume and woke her. And of course he assumes it was just coincidence and nothing to do with him because he has no concept of noise and how it might affect her.

    Thanks MFD.

Yes, we have the Isofix base. Maybe it is just the angle of the seats in my car. OH doesn't have a base in his car - we just swap cars if he is taking Holly out. The head hugger bit is still in. We raised it to the higher level to give her more room when the wedge was in, but the Baby Sensory woman lowered it again when she removed the wedge as there was more room at the bottom.
Anyway, I don't think we can reposition the seat. Hmm, not sure what to do.

You could always go to mothercare or somewhere that fits the seats and ask them to have a look at it for you - just say you bought it from there, even if you didn't.

Or some councils do drop ins to check that your seat is securely fixed.

Could you cut a bit off the wedge (a bit drastic if you are saving the seat for baby no.2)

Ultimately I think I would go for a bit squished over a lolling head :o

Does she have a coat on when you put her in? Perhaps putting her in without a coat but with a blanket?

    Am I helping yet??

beenie, DH thinks our HB was messier than sami's maybe because I was a first-timer though, and I know you're not, but we had a few towels down and a shower curtain, but I still ruined my downstairs futon mattress cover. Maybe it varies a lot. My waters only popped right at the very end so maybe there was a bit of a flood?! Sami did your waters go slowly over a time?

mine went with a mec filled woosh - my god the relief was immense :D
I was lay on the bed for all the pushing though, not sure if you being in water etc made a difference or maybe I just didn't notice the mess on the duvet that got thrown away
The biggest mess at mine was caused by my mum knocking a half empty cup of coffee flying across the landing, I still notice little spots I have to scrub off now! :p

  • I feel broody all the time! But I know Jamie is my last...

DH and I were only talking last night that 2009 is the only year I haven't been pregnant since 2006!:D (xmas makes me think of my first baby lots more ).

    And hello all!

We have been to see Father Christmas today! Cue lots of excitement from Poppy right from the moment she opened her eyes this morning. Had a wonderful day here with a tractor ride to the grotto only for Poppy to wail and howl as soon as she saw him!. Jamie loved him though and gladly posed for photos :D.

Becles, so sorry about your neighbour xx
