Although I don't actually believe you do this - just makes a good reply.
BUT...If you do, you are one sad, lonely individual.
Why not tell them to pick it up if you "see someone walk off"?
Oooohhh, I get annoyed but I don't confront people, but act like a 12 year old and push dog !!!!! through the letter box..
Pathetic.0 -
Pushing it through the letterbox is pathetic because a small child could open it and yuk! That said, I get really cross when my kids come home with dog poo all over their shoes (from the pavement while walking home from school) because some lazy dog owner couldn't be bothered to clean up after their dog. As far as I'm concerned, it should be an on-the-spot fine!0

I wish someone would fine my neighbour. He's the only one around here with a dog, and the trail of dog crap leads right to his garden gate. There was about 5 piles of the stuff on the path the other day, and it's only a short distance! It's a nightmare when you've got a little one on reigns, having to make sure he doesn't fall in the horrid stuff. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0

Pathetic.
actually I do,
I always ask them politely to pick it up BUT if they refuse then yes I will post it through the door,so what if a kid opens it,the kids can fall in it in the street,I am not going to give a damn about their kids if they do not give a damn about others,
if that makes me a sad, lonely individual the so be it
I do not see a reply about how you would handle it
or are you too PATHETIC to do anythingI

Pretty much, yes.
Thanks for your concern, it has been duly noted and will be passed on to the relevant department.0 -
Im housebound now, but when I used to go out and I saw a person leaving dog mess I would always give them a look as if to say arent you going to pick that up, if they dont they I would say something - afterall you shouldnt have a dog if you are not willing to clean up after it, its all part and parcel in my opinion.
One time I was out walking my dog and I noticed a neighbour letting her 2 dogs go to the loo right near another of my neighbours house who I know has small children who could easily have stepped in/fallen in it. I offered her a doggie bag from my roll of bags, she gave me a filthy look and said Id be be better of keeping them for my own dogs, then she walked off!
It made me really cross, I do not think there are enough wardens around, some roads around here are disgusting and covered in dog mess, its appauling really.
OP unfortunatly as you were not there there is not a lot you can do, perhaps it was your dog and your father didnt notice it? You can contact them to appeal but if that fails personally Id just pay rather than go through court.0 -
Sorry but you'll get no sympathy from me. I often have to walk the gauntlet of dog !!!!!. Tell your dad there's always a few clues if the dog's having a !!!!!. It squats down and makes a funny face and then turds appear. That's how you know.0
