Oh no! I'm sorry, losers and stayers, but I have been a complete pig and regained 4lb and we haven't even had New Year yet. So much for losing a stone by Christmas, only made it to half a stone. Boo, hoo... but at least the smaller size jeans still fit
+4lb :eek:I reserve the right not to spend.

Victory -what a wonderful, romantic thing for your DH to do!
Really sorry to hear you so unwell today and I send all my sympathy re the pain. In the last week I have had 4 episodes of gripping pain caused by my medication, so bad OH wanted to call an ambulance coz it was a bit like a heart attack the first one, but I said no, I was sure it was the meds and it has proved to be the case. Leaves me washed out and not wanting toeat again ever. Pain lasts about 45mins each time, not like you all day though...
I make up for the not wanting to eat in between though:o. Haven't dared weigh myself yet...
Beanie - did you manage the 20 mile drive or was the weather too bad?
Kpc - did you manage to cook xmas dinner in your new kitchen?
confused - welcome - a number of us have meds/health issues that contribute to our weight gain. It is frustrating. So you willget plenty of support here, it's just a case of finding what works for you and personally I think not aiming for too big a loss, i.e. there is no way I can get to a size 12 or anything on these meds, but I did lose several stone to a 14/16 (SW worked fab for me). It is creeping back on though and I need to find the oomph to address that, ho hum.
Oh and vitory - I have a dell - we bought it online a couple of years ago and I have had no probs. It's a dell inspiron1501 which is what was on sale then.
welcome Catbar - just join in as much as possble for maximum support.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

eurgh same here beanie, try walking in it to deliver mail. Then some smart 4rse shouts at me for walking on her grass. My reply was "I do not have xray vision, I cannot see where the path ends and the grass starts, maybe u should clear your path?"
Everywhere is just solid ice. But hey, i'm pretty sure it burned xtra calories trying to walk in it :rotfl:
Will try to weigh in tomorrow, forgot today, and yesterday it seems. Ok admit it, who stole monday? where did it go?4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -

Hi everyone!
Today is back to reality and back to writing essays! I had an absolutely brilliant christmas, my youngest neice is 2 now so all the kids get the sheer magic of christmas and the older I get (im only 20!) the more enjoyment I get from their enjoyment. Food has been mixed, the only christmas stuff I bought for home is one box of M&S biscuits which hasnt yet been opened, however presents of chocolate have a serious dent in them already! Very happy with the presents I gave people, I always shop throughout the year so tend to get "saw this and thought of you" presents rather than "bought for the sake of it" ones.
Main present from my dad was a £100 gift card for Debenhams which comes with a personal shopper and a make up consultation. He got the same for 1 of my sisters so that will be a nice girly day later in the year. In no rush to use it as whilst i want to lose some more weight, my sister has put on a lot since her second child and has gone up to a size 20 and has just got to that crying have nothing to wear need to do something about that stage which we have all been at so think she will make a real effort to drop a couple of sizes over the next few months, then we will use it when the summer clothes are in the shops. Motivation and something to focus on for me indeed!
Hope everyone had a good christmas, hugs to VICTORY and BB to feel better soon.
Welcome to the newbies, you will be the first of many (I joined this thread this time last year) so try to stick around. We all sts (stay the same) and gain in the journey of loosing weight so please dont be put off and stop posting if that happens, being thruthful and posting often helps all of us realise we are in this together and helps to motivate each other. Good luck!0 -
I'm so pleasedyou had such a lovely xmas dmv after such a difficult 6 months. And what a thoughtful pressie from your dad!:T
Thanks beanie & victory - I'm ok in between, though washed out for while, and it is a bit nerve wracking taking the next dose (twice a day) but attacks seem to be random. Just haven't been able to get off sofa today after last nights bout and annoyed that I feel a bit bad about that - how stupid is that eh?. Just watched gav & Stace on iplayer which was brilliant though. I'll try and do something useful before OH get's home.
Yes vic - pain is something else. OH has to hold me I just rock back and forth pratically banging my head against a wall: honestly , the noise I make, next door may have thought we were having a very good time:rotfl:
I hope yours has eased Victory.
Mazza - can't imagine doing postie rounds with some of the sheet ice we had round here last week. Can't believe that woman shouting at you to kep off the grass. The general public, don't ys just love em!
Glad you got a lift beanie.
Is it nearly time for non weight loss/exercise new years resolutions peeps:D
Just to stay abit more OT - sitting here eating loads of giant choc buttons that were part of a huge food hamper present from friends. I don't often stuff chocholate but this is a case of they are there and free and I can't be bothered to get up and get lunch.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

bb my lot say I make noises like a wounded animal:rotfl: OH got for xmas a heat massager that looks like a car seat, 4 rollers go up and down the back, heat, can be just shoulders, lower back, shiatsu etc thought that would help, how wrong can one person be? OH loves it though and the kids are never off it:D0

Very gentle hugs to BB and Victory, so sorry that you are both suffering.
Still on an eating-fest here. Going out to a friend tonight and have requested that she doesn't cook a meal. Quite looking forward to stopping stuffing on Janaury 1 but can't quite bring myself to stop yet.0
