Vixarooni - I don't think I had your energy even when I was your age... and now 9.30 looks like bed time, not going out time. OH and I were arriving home to the suburbs on the tube last Thursday about 11 as the clubbers were getting on to do their stuff in central London. I couldn't have ever worn those clothes either - sparkly, short, low and tight. OH almost walked into the wall through looking the wrong way. :rotfl::rotfl:

haha!! how funny. Although are you SURE you never wore anything short? I have seen photographic evidence of my mother in whatever era it was, lets say the 60's in a VERY short skirt and youre the same age roughly! I love how mums have short memories of what we wear to what they wore in their eras.

Trouble is i suppose my mum never got drunk enough to show her knickers like i might. How times change eh! :p

Sary: Thanks for the words of wisdom. I know youre right, i know everyones right when they say a degree is something i'll always have but when youre applying for jobs and getting no where, when youre stuck in a god awful job and cant even begin to save for a deposit to get a house or to get married it seems like the biggest mount everest wall to get over.

1.5lbs lost again this week. ( even after enjoying pizza Sunday night). My "eating sensilble" plan seems to be working and I am not hung about food and feel chilled out that I have managed to do this myself and have not the stress and expense of a diet class/group etc. Now why didnt I do this ages ago?;)

    Hola

Reporting in with this week's result - 2lbs loss for me, and STS for superman (must try harder - lol).

Didn't make it to keep fit today as I've been suffering with a cold all weekend and really didn't feel up to it - yes, even here in sunny Spain there are cold bugs doing the rounds!

Only had time for a quick skim through the posts, so I hope everyone is doing ok.

See you later in the week.

My skirt might have been short Vix, but not tight and low and sparkly as well. It would have been tie -dyed probably - ask your mum about that!
And as for showing knickers (I just wrote knockers by mistake - Freudian slip?) - us ageing hippies didn't wear any. :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi,
Can I join please. Do I have to PM someone to get added to the list?
I have recently put over a stone on since changing jobs. Was already very overweight so cannot afford to ignore it. My plan is sensible eating (cut down sugars and fats) and increases excercise. Hopefully can lose half a stone before Christmas.
