Mazza been trying to think of other carb type things but I'm stumped.

So far nothing to confess today except I missed breakfast. Dragged myself onto the running machine - didn't really enjoy it but did it.
  • try gnocchi maz - mmmmmmm. you look flipping fab. reckon i might have to sign on a christmas temp at the royal mail if thats what it does for you.

making a meatloaf for tea and found out too late it has far too many breadcrumbs in it. I'll prob skip a HEB - slightly not kosher as HEB is meant to be wholemeal - to try and compensate. Already been good today, went to ikea to look at lighting and had to buy OH a hotdog to pacify him. Didn't have one myself, and didn't scrounge a bite either! And completely unrelated but did you know ikea sells pasta shaped like mooses? Well of course I bought some!

2 slices of bread and a roll is a lot :o

I'm one of these weirdos who doesn't like salads or vegetables at all, don't like pasta or rice either. Force myself to try and eat it perhaps once a week but i really don't like it. Wish I did but i don't, and although I try to force to eat them I end up gagging at them. So I really can't think of anything else to replace the bread with
Fair enough:D I replaced the daily bread with soups, salads, cup a soups, sugar free jellies and fruits, baked beans without the bread during the week but WW wholemeal bread on a saturday, subways when they do the turkey as that is my fav and if I am in town then, boiled eggs with salads, mackerel, tuna salads, salmon slices on ryvita crackers, on the list goes:D

Bails - yes we are and it's true. Can I just say ....... diaphragm. It was a loooooong time ago! And if you gained or lost weight you needed to use a different size ... now there's a nasty memory.

    SO off topic. Sorry.

I'm getting light headed through lack of c/c/c.

hehe, the only thing I can eat on the list u put up is soup, and gotta be home made. I do try to stick to wholemeal bread most of the time, but i can't resist white at weekend.

Gnocchi  Had never heard of it :rotfl: Guess I should be more adventurous in the kitchen. I'm a meat and 2 veg kinda gal, stop the innuendo before it starts!!!! I think with the pasta it's because most sauces are tomato based. I love macaroni cheese, but that's not much good when you're trying to cut the fat :rotfl:What I really need to do now is explore more pasta/rice based dishes that my DS will eat too, that don't contain tomato. Don't get me wrong, tomatoes are one of the few fruit/veg I do eat, but hate them made into sauces.

Going to eat whatever is in freezer this week and start healthier next week, but today is the start of cutting out all the cr4p and going for a lower fat option again. Well it worked for a while, next week full on!!!

Would be so much easier if I wasn't such a fussy beggar.

KPC well done on resisting the hot dog. It's the ice cream I can't resist in Ikea, and I don't normally bother with ice cream.

Vix I'm stumped too. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and forego my toast in the morning, but then i'll probably just want crisps at work. nooooooooo

    Plan for tomorrow

Breakfast: Porridge (If I get up on time, on early shift so will probably skip until 12ish)
Lunch: Whole meal roll with lean roast beef and tomato
    Dinner: No Idea yet

    Trusty apples for snacks.

This may sound daft but why do people eat supper after they've had lunch and dinner?

Not that i can talk! I've only had a bag of buttons today so ive met my target. The only trouble is i had a korma to fill myself up so i wouldnt get the chocolate urge. Lets see if that works!!!!

    Granny: interesting method!

I try not to eat supper, but it is my danger time. Therefore have a slice of toast or bowl of cereal. If I didn't I would eat all the tasty n mega fattening things that are in for the DS lunch box.

I think that's because of the weird hours I work too though. Starting as early as I do, it's mega early when I get up, so there's a long time between breakfast and dinner. So tend to eat dinner earlier. Usually around 4-5pm. Then it gets to 9-10 pm and I'm ravenous.

Trying to leave dinner a wee bit later for the rest of the week, see if I can cut out my slice of toast in the evening.

Quite pleased with myself today, even though I had one bag of crisps. Better tomorrow!!!

Hello, would anyone mind if i joined the thread?

my DD is now 16 months, i put on 3 stone while I was pregnant. I breastfed and the weight seemed to come off on its own for a while, till the last stone and a half! Then me and my OH broke up 6 months ago and decided I'd do my best to get the last of the lb's off, I cut down on food I'd have breakfast (normally cereal), lunch (soup and a slice of bread and butter) and dinner (chicken or pork loin with salad or veg and potatoes). I did 3 exercise dvds a week and lost a stone in 6 weeks...3 months later I've put it ALL back on :(

So to try and get me motivated again I've made a file on my pc and made a spreadsheet to keep track of my weight loss, I measure my waist, my hips (espc by my love handles lol) and thighs.

You've all done so well mazza you look great!!

Forgot to mention that in sept on the xmas thread there was a tesco deal, which I took full advantage of! I've already eaten my way through some of it, so I hid it all at the bottom and the back of the storage cupboard so it would be to much hard work to get out...but my (very skinny) younger sister came round to watch a dvd and ended up persuading my to get out a tin of quality street (only picked out 5 or 6 and left the rest)...I've eaten HALF of the tin :(

How do you manage to stay motivated for so long? And how do you resist ALL of the temptations?

Sorry about the LONG post xx
