Well done Victory! I'm also trying to get back down to my lowest weight before all the festivities!

Monthly weigh in (not for chart pls :)) is 0.7kg off, and on top of last month's 1.3kg off I'm now back well within the lower half of my maintain range :D. It feels great! I would like to lose 0.5kg more of body fat so I'm sticking with the same plan for the next month.

Treating myself today (for one day only) with an extra 200 cals allowance :A

Good luck this week everyone! :D
  • I have had an awful awful weekend and not only had a chinese but had a Dominos too!! Just can't say no

Weigh in is on Weds evening so think i'm gonna have to go crazy down the gym for the next 2 nights!!! :(
    2019 will be my year!!

Hi Needto, Paul and Buffythedebtslayer - welcome

Nyk - I love your full moon / half moon reasoning but what happens when there's no moon (no food :eek:) and YEP you will lose weight, you will lose weight, you will lose weight. You've became my 9pm conscience and between you and granny's guerilla warfare on "C" food it seems to be working :j
Bindi - well done on your cake making, I wouldn't even know where do begin to make one that size without it being burnt to a crisp on the outside and gooey in the middle (mmmm gooey cake....:p)

Well done Victory and Missy :j

hezza maybe the lack of time to prepare did you a favour because then you did not turn into a nervous wreck, going over, rehearsing, these things are sent to try us and you did not have so much time to react that I am guessing you did a sterling interview, came across fantastic (no sweaty palms) and it was the way it was supposed to be, see now you have had the time to think you have crumbled but not then;)
Food and emotions uhm very close connection there always has been the wine you need to calm down the food to make you feel calmer:D
I hope you get the job.:D

Talking about jobs my boss rang me out of the blue for more hours next week, I said yes immediately, no idea what hours or when but I just instantly said yes, more money or should I say another £5 an hour will do us no harm :D

victory - thanks for that, all makes perfect sense, so thanks. Well done on getting the extra hours for you BTW. I haven't heard anything about the job yet either way, he did say he was seeing a few more candidates and the recruitment consultant said it could take 2-4 weeks altogether before any decision is made, so I'm trying not to dwell on it and just focus on today.

Went to the Beyonce gig at The O2 on Saturday and it was FANTASTIC. She is absolutely gorgeous, on stage for 2.5 hours without a break (apart from costume changes), there we all were on our feet signing and bopping along the whole time!! :D Didn't know I still had it in me!! :rotfl:

Before the concert began we tried out the Blueroom and were just hanging out when who should walk in? The guy who interviewed me on Thursday...... (with someone who I can only assume was his daughter....). He didn't see me but before I could make up my mind whether or not to go and talk to him he left again. What a bizarre twist, completely freaked me out.

Hezza I admire your patience - when OH was job hunting I drove me crazy when he would say "Oh they'll let me know in a few weeks". Although the job he got they said we'll get back to you in the next 2 weeks and it was 7 weeks later before they gave him his start date - the guy doing the interviews went on holiday and his assistant lost all the cv's - took them 4 weeks to find them again and get in touch... meanwhile i'm climbing the walls and constantly asking OH "have they phoned yet, have they phoned yet, have they phoned yet"

but anywhoo good luck and I hope they get back to you soon.
  • ARGH!!! Cannot control these chocolate cravings! I pigged out again last night!! One WW dessert is not good enough and I can never stop! Peed off big time! Weigh day tomorrow though so its a fresh start.
  • Melissa - have you tried eating dark chocolate instead - I mean the 70% plus cocoa kind? Dark chocolate is a bit of an acquired taste but I find that whenever I get a chocolate craving I eat less of it because it is so bitter that even a small amount settles the craving down again. Apart from that, there's loads of research to say that 70% chocolate is better for you, so full of anti-oxidants etc that it's practically a health food! :D
