bindiboo they look amazing - i'm sitting having my morning cuppa drooling on my keyboard

re dark chocolate - what about putting your mini bars in the freezer so that you're forced to either wait till they're defrosted or to eat them really slowly

well done everyone that have lost so far this week :j

    How's your elbow doing Vix?
  • wise words from vicotry there. I think i shall go and choose my meal for the work christmas do with those words echoing in my ears, then i know i'll be good!
  • i was good - picked salmon salad for starter instead of pate, and tarte us citron with creme fraiched instead ofchristmas pudding or tiramisu.

    Thanks Victory!

Nyk - I love your full moon / half moon reasoning but what happens when there's no moon (no food :eek:) and YEP you will lose weight, you will lose weight, you will lose weight. You've became my 9pm conscience and between you and granny's guerilla warfare on "C" food it seems to be working :j

Hello :D I've researched that part now and seing as that only occurs for one day of the lunar month, take your pick - fasting or feasting? :rotfl: Personally, I think the dark moon should be for an early night of feasting by way of celebrating sticking to our lunar sized portions and stopping eating before 9pm. I've been trying to change my food curfew slightly to 8pm to avoid the temptation to rush into bed at 8.53pm and cram a handful of pastilles and liquorice allsorts down my throat before 9pm, though. :rotfl:

Not weighed in yet, leaving it until tomorrow, but have been doing quite a bit of baking, including a clootie dumpling! Yum! (For non Scots, it's like a big fruit & suet pudding - yummy hot, cold, grilled, fried, baked, breakfast, lunch, dinner, pudding, with custard, with milk, with cream... you get the picture) :o I'll TRY to save some by freezing it for a later date but that's looking less and less likely with each mealtime that passes and someone already mentioned a fry up somewhere. I promise only to eat it in very small portions. :D Must check the chart to see if I have any hope of making it to 5lb loss this month. :o

I am lucky in that I love making them but have never liked eating them - just a lucky thing so both OH and me happy.
Still managing to portion control a little better and avoid bread. Eating too many raisins /saltanas fro snacks though. Hoping for a loss when I weigh in tomorrow...

Well done on the lb loss mazza:T and great advice granny on the not having it in the house - works best for me.

Welcome to acouple more newbies Paul and buffy:T

Having a very stressful day which fortunately I find makes me not want to eat rather than the other way round. I've just managed to force some lunch down me though.

Edit: great stuff lois & superman.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

I made the mistake of buying a couple of tins of chocs for the kids at christmas. I have wrapped them up already so that i'm not tempted, but the temptation is still pulling me...........

    I must not eat them
