Eric you will get there, think of those x's as little kisses, nibbling away the fat, less nibbles u have, one kiss will drop off
You know, this whole black clothes thing has got me thinking. I have loads of coloured clothes. Have a lovely orange top which Victory just reminded me of. Seems I've lived so long in black I just automatically go for the black stuff in the wardrobe. Think it might be to do with the get away from anything that resembles work colours thing. I wear red at work everyday of the week. Soon to be replaced by blue now that summer is coming
Talking of summer. Bought myself 2 new pairs of shorts for work And was all set for wearing them, until I seen my milk bottle legs :rotfl: No time to build up, I want my shorts on now!!! So time to fake it i fear :rotfl:
little kisses from elephants and blue whales0 -
Courtesy of trying to drive while knackered eating went slightly askew as needed lucozade and a boost to keep me awake and safe. Tomorrow is another day.0

Thanks everyone!! Im only going to have to travel there for one day! ha, but thats enough for me.
Today i went to bluewater, i could have spent hundreds. Girls, go into hollister, jeez louise!! The men in there (who all have to be models to work in there i believe) were gorgeous. I bought lots is marks and spencer, theyre great for a sale! I love colourful clothes, i love clothes in general. I wish i were a 10 just to wear certain clothes i cant really get away with.
Happy Birthday GRANNY for tomorrow!! If youre near the theatre that shows dirty dancing, say hello! I'm so excited for the weekend. I bought a new dress but i think its a bit short for the theatre? so god knows what im going to wear! Right im off, have a good weekend everyone0 -

toooo many bloody people, after an hour i get the cravings to start hacking at people with chain saws and giant axes
and all the shops (dont look at cloths) run a cartel and ramp the prices up, everything is cheaper on the web
and then theres John Lewis, why do I have the desire to spend £1000s in there???

All out food is contaminated, from pesticides to nitrates and even organic food absorbs all the pollutants in the air, water and soil and there's traces of heavy metals in that (and particulates from Chernobyls reactor).
It would be easy to make your head spin
I think a better rule would be avoid heavily processed food.
Oops forgot to add rule 2 which basically said that rule 1 may not be possible and in that case to pick the option with the least ingredients possible. (ie heavily processed)0 -

Guilford is a great place i'm sure you will do fine on the commute and the train station is not far from the town centre.
Victory - your nail varnish made me giggle :rotfl:
Mazza - you know when you have been tango'ed
Noooooooooooooooooo. I won't go that far, just a little Johnson's holiday skin :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Still wouldn't go as far as wearing the orange top with it though, might be a matching pair :rotfl:4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -

sounds like SWMBOs rules for a happy marrage
Rule 1) SWMBO is always right
Rule 2) When SWMBO is wrong refer to rule 1

That is wonderful news, and you SO deserve it. I can just see you talkingto the brides and grooms (and the civil partners, and the birthday girls and boys, and the new home owners and ......) and impressing them with your warm personality and sense of humour, I 'm sure you'll encourage them to put lots of things on their lists and not argue with each other all the way around the shop.
I now have a diagnosis for my leg/back, which turns out to be a problem with my pelvis. It will, eventually, get better on its own :j if I rest it for about 6 months. Trying to be more active has been precisley the wrong thing to dowhich is why it has become worse and worse. So I do have to use a stick. I've ordered a very flowery one. I know I'm very lucky compared with the many people here who have permanent health issues but at the moment I'm quite fed up about it. Sorry for the moan.:o:o

Aww Eric, sounds like you've really been missing SWMBO. Where has she gone, and is it for work (I missed that bit maybe?).
Victory - I too recall the burning inner thigh syndrome of the hefty. As an overweight teen, who hadn't the confidence to wear jeans - back in the day of shrink to fit Levis, and friends who were all size 6 and wore skintight drainpipe jeans, so I was always in a below knee length roomy skirt. This was the 80's, and you could still (just about) get away with the look. Discovering I could wear jeans & trousers later in life, and never getting back to that size again has helped, but even so, at a size 18 I looked better in trousers than a skirt.
Victory's story of walking in the heat, reminded me of my 'trigger moment' to get me to take a long hard look at who/what I had become, and make me take action about my weight. I was 22, living life from one mealtime to the next. Perpetually single, lonely and reliant on single girlfriends and clubbing for a social life. My work's Christmas party was coming up, everyone was getting a new outfit, my sister was coming along as my +1 and we were outfit shopping. She found a lovely, sparkly dress and I couldn't get into a size 24 in BHS. I ended up buying a maternity dress in desperation. Oh the shame. The reality was, that when I looked in the mirror, I had a belly big enough to look pregnant too. I saw that image, and knew I had to change it. I was fed up of hearing my mother say I was the family's 'Alison Moyet'.
I had the usual Christmas celebrations, but from the new year, I started eating healthily, and less. I think the fact I was so young helped too, and the weight started to fall off me. I was losing about a stone a month initially, but by the following Christmas I was a size 14, and looked totally different, and had already met my 1st boyfriend!
My weight has always fluctuated since then, but I have never got close to being that big again, and the fear of it has constantly kept me in check.
Well, my son had a lovely 18th birthday, and he loved the gifts we got him. He had a bunch of friends come round last night, and then after they left. There were so many candles on the cake that it actually began to melt, and had a definite lean going on by the time it was cut!One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0
