One thing I don't miss is black, black clothes in the wardrobe are now banned, well very limited, that is all I used to wear because of the size but now I have orange on and was loving looking at the mint green nail varnishes that are all the rage for spring, might have to go and get some tomorrow or maybe the mint eyeliner, maybe that could be one step too far:rotfl:

Funny you should say that, as someone whose spent the last 10 years all in black (who are we kidding :rotfl:) apart from my work shirts I think I subconsciously knew something was different, a couple of months before I started attempt number 876 I had binned nearly all the black tops and bought a selection of coloured ones.

I still look at black and part of my brain thinks that is the only colour that will fit me that I can wear, so dragging brain and thoughts from black to colour is quite a task but slowly slowly:D

Vix that's brilliant news!!! Feel the same as you about public transport and going somewhere new. Hell I even feel like that when I get the train into Glasgow :rotfl:Disagree on the xbox tho, although my son is addicted to CoD MW2. Although as an old school gamer I can agree that it's good to beat all the blokes. Especially when u have a unisex name and they think you must be a bloke.:rotfl:

I'm still a fat git, I'll stick to black thnx guys :rotfl:Naw, it's nothing to do with being fat, I've just always loved black. Even when I was a skinny wee thing. I wanted to get married in black, but my x was having none of it, as it turned out, black would have been the best colour for the wedding as it set the tone for the marriage :rotfl:

I just don't like bright and bubbly clothes, just isn't "me" if that makes sense, love them on other people, just not on me. I do colours in the summer, of sorts, I switch to black and white then :rotfl:

Hezza thanks for the link, will have a look at it when I've got more time. Got visitors coming next week from Germany, so may not be very good on food in the next couple of weeks.

  • VIXAROONI!!!! You done it girlie - got your first proper full time job, and snapped up by the sound of it like we knew you should be. C.O.N.G.R.A.T.U..A.T.I.O.N.S.

Guildford is a nice place nestling into the North Downs. If you are used t going to London, that bit is a doddle. Then it shold be a simple jounry don from Waterloo I think.
As you 'being a woman' I'll let you know when it sinks in for me:D

I never wear black, becasue it makes me lok like death warmed up - mazza - frills have the same efffect on me as colour on you: I just feel bizarre and not at all myself.

Running later today as rountine (I hope!) hosp visit before work.

Big pear for brekkie and lentils for lunch. Very misty here today.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

I get emails from various health sites and I thought I would share this with you all.

"Our food supply has become so overly processed, that it's not uncommon for a simple snack food to contain a list of 20-30 ingredients of additives, chemicals, flavorings, colorings, high fructose corn syrup, MSG, artificial sweeteners, and more.

However, it CAN be easy to avoid ALL of this junk by following my 1 simple rule of eating healthy... and that is:

    >> Eat only foods that are 1 ingredient."

Sorry ladies thats cake out of the window :D and anything with flour etc

All out food is contaminated, from pesticides to nitrates and even organic food absorbs all the pollutants in the air, water and soil and there's traces of heavy metals in that (and particulates from Chernobyls reactor).

It would be easy to make your head spin

I think a better rule would be avoid heavily processed food.
