Thanks for the help everyone. It is really hard because debenhams kinda have it all covered. The bride and groom get a £50 giftcard, the delivery is free, there is the holiday option, the gift card option, the traditional list option. The gift card one means they get 10% off everything they buy with it roughly. So really its just ways of getting the word out there. I liked the civil route but after talking to the girl whos job i would potentially take over, she said theyve kinda done that already. So who knows!

Hope everyones had a lovely mothers day :)

Oops is all I have to say about today's food.

On a more positive note I got properly fitted for some running shoes so hopefully my joints won't hurt as much when I run now.

for obvious reasons i get terrible joint ache if i jog, in fact a combination of knee pain / torn calf muscle for 3 months is what killed my last attempt ..

things that i have found that help a lot

Use proper fitting shoes with good air soles, unfortunately there expensive :(

I also use heal pads as I suffer terribly from bruised heels now that I'm not a 100% couch potato

Only run on a treadmill with a an anti shock deck, defiantly never on roads / pavements

And lastly I slow down and go for a permanent incline on the treadmill, this puts a lot less load on the joints but you can easily adjust the angle steeper until your heart rate is in the 140 ish zone (or where ever you want to train)

Well I crash on Thursday, went into starvation mode so I added +500 cals to sat and sun to try and kick start the old metabolism .... Friday my brain was so fried I couldnt remember my pin numbers :(

So hard to accurately monitor what you need with no proper kit, it really is trial and error.

Going to stick to 1600 cals a day this week to see if that's my base line now, which is good as I now get to eat a Nana everyday with my breaky which I love and is a super food :D

Well its going to get difficult from now on, its also an area that I don't have a huge amount of info on (as I have normally quit before I get this far :p)

oh and SWMBO has gone to Malta for a week this morning and I miss her already ...

Its going to be a tough week to keep motivated ...

after some reading it seams that I am doing the right thing, upping my daily amount by 100 cals for a week and see how it goes, if i still hit starvation mode than up it 100 again.

It also shows that my metabolism is growing as I get fitter and put on some muscle :)

Morning all, what a glorious day it is in West London today...absolutely lovely!!

Hope you all had a good weekend, my phase 1 of harcombe ended on Sat after 5 days....I was so happy that I could eat bread, drink milk etc again...but I must admit that I went wild yesterday when I realised I lost so much weight, so I hope I haven't put anything back on...I will officially weigh in tomorrow morning as usual...but for once I may have some good news :-)

    Have a great day all!!!
